Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We are completely committed to raising our children, and we are so excited to add another child into our mix. We have no idea what you are feeling right now as you look through these pages, but we thank you for being here. Our Story

Our Home

Our home is a favorite place to be! We all love to be home and can’t wait to snuggle up on the couch and watch movies together, eat weeknight dinners together, invite friends over, and celebrate all the holidays.

For example,  Valentines day our kids create and decorate their own Valentine mailbox, for St Patrick’s day we dye their cereal green and sprinkle green glitter around the window sills to show that the leprechauns came, Easter we have Easter egg hunts and recognize this day as the day that our Savior Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Thanksgiving and Christmas we decorate, bake cookies, and invite family and friends over. During Christmas, we look at Christmas lights in the back the truck while drinking hot chocolate, we go sledding , and have gingerbread house contests. We also always make a birthday cake and sing “happy birthday to Jesus”

Our home is 3 years old. We have 5 bedrooms and a room already for a new baby to bring home too! We live on over a half-acre. In our backyard we have a basketball court, a putting green and a fire pit.

We love our diverse, spacious, and well-kept neighborhood. The homes are all very new and the neighborhood was designed to be very family friendly. They are multiple parks and a big neighborhood pool. We also enjoy all the walking paths, grassy hills, and ponds to fish in. It is extremely safe and maintained.

Our Pets

We have one dog named, Copper. Copper is 3 years old, he is about 15 pounds and he loves to snuggle. He has been around babies, toddlers and children of all ages. He sleeps on the ends of the kids beds at night, making his rounds around the house to keep everyone safe. He is playful and friendly, and is often with us wherever we go!

Our Family

Shiloh and Keanna

Shiloh and I met when we were in college. We were friends for a couple of years before we started dating our junior year. Our friendship grew as we could relate to one another’s competitive drive and work ethic, but more importantly our faith in Jesus. After we graduated, we married in the spring of 2011, and a month later moved to Houston, Texas. We have been married for over 10 years now and we are so grateful to be each other’s biggest fans and supporters.

About the Kids

Kruz is 10, in 4th grade and is our mild-mannered manly man. Kruz is the first born, a rule-follower, he is very reliable, and has a knack for keeping us all on time. Kruz is a thinker, a hard worker, and loves to play football and basketball. He is quite the sports fanatic.

Kruz has a very big heart and shows it through his quiet actions more so than words. He is protective of his younger brothers even walks them to class in the morning. He is also their biggest cheerleader! He runs up and down the sidelines during their games, always supporting them!

Kruz will be a wonderful big brother to a new baby because he will be soft-spoken, helpful and responsible. As the oldest, he is protective and considerate. A baby will bring even more leadership from him.

Kingston is 7 and in 1st grade He is our little ball of fun! He makes friends wherever he goes. He is very social, likes to build Legos, and play outside! He is a very tender-hearted little boy and is often doing small acts of kindness around the house. Kingston has a great attitude when it comes to helping others and teaching his younger brother how to build Legos, shoot nerf guns, color, draw, or play football. He is very patient with  Kove and adores his older brother Kruz. Kingston is an overcomer, and he is learning to never give up!

Kingston is the gentlest little boy. He will be the sweetest, most patient older brother. He can’t wait to teach his new sibling how to build legos, paint, draw, and play guitar.

Kove is 5 and in pre-kindergarten. He is our entertainer. He has the biggest imagination and is usually dressed up as a ninja, football player, cowboy, or power ranger. He likes to collect rocks, small superheroes, rocks, acorns, and racecars, basically anything that can fit in his pocket. He tags along with his brothers to all their football, basketball, baseball practices. He is a little sporter as well and you can often find him running up and down the sidelines alongside them.

As the youngest, he cannot wait to have a little brother or sister. He talks about it often and even puts baby toys, baby clothes, and baby bottles in my shopping cart at the store. He circles Christmas presents that he wants to buy for them in catalogues and has a crib picked out at Target, so every time we walk by, he reminds me that is his little baby’s crib.
