So, I am definitely not the writer of the family, but I can talk to anyone. I am 38 years old, and my wife reminds me daily how she is so much younger. Most of my daily job requires me to talk and it fits me well. I feel it's important to teach the kids to say hello and acknowledge people. I am the broker at our real estate firm and a General contractor in Residential construction. having Court work with me is the best thing, she handles all my paperwork, and we love lunch dates. I promise to work hard to provide a financially stable life and loving home for your baby. I am not the best at words, and I know thank you isn't sufficient, but we are grateful for you.
I'm Courtney but if you ask Leigh, I am Court, but my kids call me Mama and my nieces and Nephews call me NeA or Aunt Nee. That sentence sums up some of my favorite parts of life. I am almost 35 and am very sure I want to rock and raise one more little one. I first learned about adoption at my favorite job as a nurse in neonatal intensive care unit. I couldn't believe the amount of love that came from every side of the adoption story. As our lives have changed and we have grown I know in my heart that if God lets it happen this will be part of our family's forever. My parenting style runs heavy on grace and nurturing with a side of natural consequences. I was a young mom and I always wanted to do things right. I have now learned everyone is learning and trusting Jesus and raising kiddos to love him helps a lot. I want you to know that I am cheering for you!! I mean that, I have sat and talked with moms of all seasons and situations, and I know that if you are reading this you are working toward a situation of unconditional love for your baby! No matter what that looks like I am praying for you already. Oh and I love coffee and spaghetti but not together.
Our promise to you and your baby: we promise to love you both unconditionally. Our hope is to provide a life you would be proud of. We strive to teach hard work and kindness above all. We love Jesus and want our kids to show His love through action. Actions speak louder than words. We pray for servant’s hearts. We promise to nurture and foster independence. We have had a little and plenty and promise to always stay grounded. Humility and empathy are traits we value. We can’t thank you enough for considering adoption and please know you are special to us.
