Jess & Tim
– Wisconsin –
Hello! We are Jess and Tim. We greet you with warm hearts and open minds. Thank you for taking time to learn about us and for considering us to be part of your adoption plan.
We are in our early thirties, enjoy being active, and work hard to be good people. We are very close to our families and friends and have a terrific support network – everyone is excited and grateful to welcome our future child We have been together for almost eight years, and married for almost three. Our lives together are filled with adventure, laughter, and love, and we are so excited to grow our family through adoption!
We can't wait to meet you!
As written by Tim:
Jess embodies so many great qualities that being concise with my answer is difficult. She is loving, committed, loyal, hard-working and many other things. I have never met a person who can genuinely love so much and so many. Her family comes first, but her love extends to her friends, her students, her pets, and her community. She is always willing to go the extra mile for those she cares about.
Jess’ sense of commitment is unmatched. She is a person that dedicates herself to something and works endlessly to make it a reality. I have seen this quality day in and day out in our marriage, at the rural school we work at, and in our relationships. I could not be luckier to call her my partner and am grateful for her every day.
As written by Jess:
Tim is patient, kind, and loyal. He is not only my husband, but my best friend. He works hard to make the world a better place, each and every day. His laugh is infectious! Tim has shared his courage, strength, and support throughout our marriage and I am fortunate to have him in my corner. He shows respect and integrity
throughout his work as a school counselor, his love of family, and relationships with all he loves.
Tim values family and we can’t wait to add a child to our lives. Few people are as dependable, thoughtful, and patient as Tim. Seeing him with kids, in both his personal and professional life, brings out his light, humor, and generosity.
We recently purchased our dream home, which is situated on 12 beautiful acres in the rolling hills of
Southwest Wisconsin, also known as the “Driftless” region. Our home is a colorful, busy place, full of
music, pets, and projects. Friends and family visit us often for holidays and special events. We also
enjoy the quiet times that living in the country allows, such as reading by the fireplace, snoozing in the
hammock in our yard, or roasting S’mores around our fire pit.
We live in a vibrant community that boasts the benefits of a large city, such as a thriving arts and
entertainment scene, with the laid back and friendly vibe that only a small town can offer.
Last, we are fortunate enough to live just minutes from the majority of our parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews!
We have two dogs Arlo and Lottie and one cat, Honey.
Arlo is a Great Pyrenees and just turned two years old! She is a gentle giant who loves all she meets. She especially loves our 1 and 2 year old nieces! She loves the cold Wisconsin winters and prefers to spend most of her time outdoors.
Lottie is a golden Pyrenees (mix of a golden retriever and great Pyrenees). Lottie joined our family in July of 2019 and will turn 1 in May! She recently graduated puppy preschool with highest honors. Lottie prefers to spend her time indoors, cuddled up next to her humans.
Honey is an outdoor cat who we inherited when we purchased our home. Although she lives outdoors, she loves cuddles and doesn't stray too far from her heated cat house on the deck.
Our families are very important to us, we consider them our best friends! We have been blessed
with 5 nephews and 7 nieces. We take our roles as aunt and uncle very seriously and do our best to be great role models! We love taking them on special trips and being involved in their lives.
Jess has three siblings: one younger and one older brother, and an older sister. Her older
siblings are both married and have kids of their own. They live just a short drive away- our
future child will have cousins close by right from the start!
Tim is one of the middle children in a family of 6 siblings—he has 4 brothers and 1 sister. Growing up on a farm, Tim and his siblings were always close, and this bond has persisted into adulthood.
One of our favorite traditions is our annual Noah’s Ark Water-park trip. Each year we take
our nieces and nephews to Wisconsin Dells and enjoy a full day of water slides, laughs, and
memories!
Jess’ family owns and operates a music festival each summer in her hometown. For the past 5
years, we have enjoyed taking our niece to this fun filled event! There is camping, food, family, and plenty of laughs!
We attend dance recitals, sporting events, and outdoor activities with friends all year round!
Tim’s parents host an annual Easter and 4th of July get together. Easter is celebrated with a large meal and an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids! To celebrate the 4th of July, we enjoy grilling out, spending time as a family, and ending our evening watching the local firework show in town.
