We met 12 years ago at Karl’s front door! When we were younger we both worked two jobs. At the time, Jessica’s second job was an insurance nurse where she went to a person’s home to perform medical exams. Karl was seeking life insurance and Jessica was the nurse assigned to meet with Karl. After the exam, we decided to exchange numbers and to have dinner some night. After several failed attempts to align schedules for our first date, Karl convinced Jessica to allow him to cook for her. The more time we spent with each other, the more we realized God meant for us to be together. In no time we fell very much in love. We had a very simple small wedding at our church with our Pastor. We have been happily married for 11 years!!!
Jessica works in healthcare. Her favorite things are her husband and family, Maverick (dog), traveling, soccer, and family game night Jessica also enjoys shopping, playing with babies, entertaining friends, Zumba, reading, and relaxing by the pool! Jessica absolutely loves children. She always seems to make the smallest occasions memorable. Jessica loves to plan our family vacations and our holiday events. Her passion for creating memories is unparalleled. Jessica is the most loving woman I have ever met. She has a way of calming me even after the hardest of days. Jessica never meets a stranger. After talking to her for five minutes, you feel like you’ve known her your whole life. Jessica always puts others before herself. Her energy and beautiful smile light up every room.
Karl is the most amazing husband, provider, father and best friend a girl could ask for. He is my Prince Charming! Karl has been my #1 fan and best friend for as long as I have known him. He loves with his whole heart and is such a great man.Karl loves to be outside. I think this comes from growing up on his family farm and being a Boy Scout. In his free time, he loves to plan and do projects to improve our home. Just when I think there is nothing else to build around our pool or improve in our house, he comes up with another idea. Karl is the kindest, most patient, and hardest working man I’ve ever known. I love his smile and how he never complains when the whole family just wants to snuggle.
We live in a suburb close to a large city. We live in close proximity to the city to enjoy all of the wonderful amenities but live out in the country so we can have the peacefulness and serenity of nature in our backyard. Our home is in an excellent school district and our community has many extracurricular activities for kids to participate in.
Our nursery is in the construction stage...furniture should arrive within the week and we will add pictures!!! Cant wait to share!
We have two amazing dogs. Goose is a white labradoodle. He weighs 60 lbs. He is full of energy and loves to play catch. He loves swimming in the pool. He walks around in the shallow end like a person and often just stands at the side with his paws on the side just relaxing. Maverick is a black and brown Shihpoo. He weighs 18 lbs. He is the most loving a snuggling little doggie. He is an excellent swimmer. He loves chasing his shadow. They both love playing with their toys. They are both inside family members but love to be outside with us. Neither dogs shed and are both hypoallergenic.
We are a blended family. Our daughter is Kalyn,17, and our is Payton, 18. Kalyn is an Honor student. She loves the color blue,pizza, ice cream, babies. Kalyn’s favorite TV shows are Friends and Grey’s Anatomy. Kalyn’s hobbies include playing soccer, playing with kids, basketball, gymnastics, and hanging out with friends.I love children so much and have always wanted a younger sibling! I have been waiting to be a big sister my whole life. I have committed to a Christian college on a soccer scholarship majoring in nursing. Payton is 18 and loves listening to music. His favorite color is green and his favorite food is pizza. Payton enjoys watching Game of Thrones, running cross country, playing soccer, and skateboarding. I am excited to have a younger sibling so we can play outside together!
Family is so important. We love getting together all throughout the year. Birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas are celebrated to the maximum. Eating great food, playing silly games, opening up tons of presents are just a few things that we enjoy. We take a Beach vacation with our family every summer. We rent a Beach house and spend the whole week playing in the ocean and digging in the sand. We have gone to Disney several times for Thanksgiving. It was awesome! We try to take a family trip to Playa del Carmen Mexico once a year! We have so much fun exploring another country and all its beauty. From snorkeling, to swimming with the dolphins or sea lions, and even deep sea fishing, we have fun no matter what we are doing!!!
