About Lindsey Loscher

Lindsey is the 7th of 8 children. As a young child she enjoyed climbing trees and making new friends. She loved being outside and could often be found helping her dad in his massive garden. To say that Lindsey is a family person would be an understatement. She grew up with her uncle next door, her aunt across the street and another aunt two doors down; not to mention her grandparents just a few miles away. Lindsey graduated from High School and then attended Utah State University. In 2015 she graduated with her bachelors degree in Parks and Recreation with a minor in Family Human Development. She is the "techy" one in our house and is always fixing the electronics, she love to decorate our home and play with her nieces and nephews. She plans to be a stay-at-home mom.

Our Home

We live in a small town in Utah. Our neighborhood borders farmland and cattle grazing areas to the north and our small town to the south. We live in a rambler style home built in 2008 with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, an office, and a decent sized fenced-in yard. Our backyard consists of an area for Clancy, with his kennel and doghouse, a shed, a garden area where Lindsey can grow her yearly harvest of fruits and veggies, and a large grassy area.

Our neighborhood has a mix of mostly young families with kids, with a few elderly couples as well. Numerous times during the summers, our neighborhood hosts block parties, (barbecues, yard sales, yard games, etc.). We love the good people that surround us, and we all do our best to look out for one another.

Our Nursery

Our nursery is practically done! We have a crib, clothes, bottles, changing pads, binkies, burp cloths, diaper bag, blankets, shoes, ointment, diapers and wipes and much more! The walls are painted a very light gray color on top with white bead board around the bottom half of the walls. The theme is a rustic vibe with a cute barnwood shelf Mark made. It is very gender-neutral because we are happy to have either a boy or a girl in our family.

Our Pets

Clancy is our German Short Hair pup. He has no shortage of energy and loves to get to know other people. His favorite games are fetch and keep away. He is an outside dog, but loves to sneak in the house any chance he gets. He is a bird dog and is in his element on the annual pheasant hunt. We sure do love our puppy!

Our Family

We have a big family. On Mark's side of the family there are 2 nieces and 2 nephews and on Lindsey's side there are 8 nieces and 11 nephews. They range in age from 17 years and down. We are always celebrating birthdays and having BBQ's. We enjoy spending time with our family and visit them often. All of our family is very supportive of our decision to adopt and are excited for another child to join the family.

Our Traditions

We LOVE traditions! Every year we go on a camping trip with a few of our friends. We try to go on a big vacation every other year or so, we love Mexico! We celebrate Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial day, Mothers day, Fathers day, the 4th of July and Christmas! We go each year to cut our own Christmas Tree down from the forest which has become one of our favorite traditions of all.

Our Story

It all began when Mark and I met through mutual friends at our church. We soon became friends and started hanging out with each other weekly. This went on for about 3 years. When a time came where we were both single, we decided that we would take a chance on each other and start dating for good. We fell in love and were then married on June 28th 2014.

In August of 2015 we purchased our first home. We have grown to love Northern Utah and the people who live here. Our community is great and our neighbors are wonderful. We love the fun activities our town has to offer such as movies in the park, fireworks, the pool, movie theater, and the many community parks.

We feel that we have been led towards adoption and can't wait!
