We have so much love to give and want to share that love with a sweet child. Our families and friends are very supportive and excited for us and can't wait to welcome a child into our family. Paul is the most genuine person I know. He is kind and thoughtful and always finds a way to make me laugh! He is a hard worker and a great provider who takes pride in doing things the right and honest way. Paul is a great friend who is quick to offer help and generous with his time and talents. He is warm and friendly and loves his family with all of his heart. He is incredibly smart and can fix just about anything! I know that he will be the most attentive, supportive, and loving dad!
Kate is a high school teacher who loves kids. She is kind-hearted and patient and always puts others' needs before her own. She works hard to better those around her and to be a great friend to all that she meets. She is warm and friendly and is always wearing a smile.
We built our dream house in 2015 on a few acres just a couple of minutes outside of the small town that we both grew up in. We did the majority of the work ourselves and it was definitely a labor of love and a lesson in patience! Our house plans were designed to accommodate a growing family, and we are so excited at the thought of that becoming a reality. Both of our parents and all of our siblings live less than 10 minutes away. We love having a home that is warm and welcoming with a door that is always open. We enjoy hanging out on our back patio with friends and family while watching their children play in the back yard. We can't wait to add a sweet little one of our own to the mix!
We adopted our sweet girl, June, in December of 2017. She comes everywhere with us and loves every person and dog she meets. Her best friend is Kate's sister's dog, Roux, who she bosses around despite being 1/4 of her size! June loves to swim, chase frogs, get belly scratches, and roll over for treats.
Everyone in both of our families lives within a 10-minute drive from our house. We are a very close-knit family who loves hard and plays hard. Both of our parents have been married for over 35 years and have been a great inspiriation for our marriage. We enjoy spending weekends on the water together, whether fishing or just boat riding. We also love sports and attend collegiate football games regularly. There are young children in both of our families, so we are involved in t-ball and soccer games with our niece and nephews. We love watching them learn and grow!
We love spending time outdoors and on the water. We both love to fish and spend our weekends at our family's camp on the Gulf of Mexico. While there, we enjoy good food, good company, and a fish story or two!
