Sara & David
– New Jersey –
We are a hopeful adoptive family from New Jersey, and are looking to complete our family through adoption. Our desire is to have a continued relationship with you and your family – let’s decide together what that looks like. We will ALWAYS put the best interests of your child first. We are a fun-loving, caring, supportive family and we know we can provide a wonderful home for your child.
Thank you for taking the time to ‘”meet’” us and we look forward to getting to know you better!
I consider myself to be a strong, successful, fun-loving and caring person. I’ve always known that I wanted to be a mom and having our son has been a dream come true. I can’t wait to add to our family! I have a very tight-knit group of friends, and have been “Aunt” Sara to their children for years. I love bringing people together and organizing social activities; our door is always open for friends and family to stop by.
I work as a Human Resources Executive and truly love what I do. My job afforded me the opportunity to travel the world and now allows the flexibility for me to work from home several days a week.
I love to travel and also enjoy photography, attending sporting events (I’m a huge New York Red Bulls soccer fan!), and watching movies. I also enjoy cooking – influenced by my grandmother who was a great cook and my father who worked in the food & beverage industry and taught at the Culinary Institute of America.
I worked in New York City as a Media Executive, consulting with organizations on their media strategies for over 20 years. Since our son was born, I have taken some time off from my career to be a stay at home dad. I love the relationship that my son and I have developed over the past few years, and it’s been a privilege to help him develop and grow into the wonderful little boy he has become.
In 2018, we moved from New York City to a suburb in New Jersey. We have a beautiful four bedroom house with a fenced in backyard. We have an empty bedroom just waiting to be filled and lots of room to run around.
One of the main reasons we moved was to make sure our children have access to a great education, and our town has some of the top-rated public schools in the state. We live on a tree-lined, dead-end street, with a park at the end of the block. Our neighborhood is full of children and has been very welcoming.
We come from a close-knit family where we each have a brother and a sister and lots of extended family that we see regularly. We have three nieces and lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles that live nearby. Both of our mothers are retired and spend a lot of time with our son. Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays are all spent together and as our family expands, we are creating new traditions.
We are also very fortunate to have close friends that we consider family in our lives. Everyone is very excited for us to add to our family!!
