Hello! We are Neal & Sara, a happily married couple that lives in Southern Utah. It is difficult to know what to say here. We both have experience with the foster care system and have reached a point in our lives that we are ready to welcome a permanent member to our little family. We love each other more than anything, and will love any and all of our future children just as much.
By way of "get to know you" we love to adventure outside as often as we can by hiking, rock climbing, canyoneering, bouldering, and all sorts of outdoor activities. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat that like to join us on our adventures. Adoption is our next big adventure!
Neal is a loving, compassionate, and quiet person. She earned her first Master's Degree by the age of 21 and had her 2nd by 23! She runs an accounting firm with her close friend and business partner, while also working for the fire department as a fire fighter and EMT. She puts her heart into everything she does, and her love has no bounds. Neal has 5 years experience as a single foster parent for children from ages 2 weeks to 13 years old. Neal also volunteers at the animal shelter and with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah. She grew up on a horse ranch and running farm. She comes from a smaller family, with one brother and one sister. Her 2 nieces and nephew are the light of her life.
Sara is an amazing and beautiful person inside and out. She is the least judgmental and most loving human around. Her passions drive her and you can see her ambitious nature in everything she does. Her interests including creating costumes for her favorite holiday, Halloween, and for cosplay! Sara has gone to FanX (Utah comic con) the past 5 years in a row and wins costuming contests each year! She also enjoys performing in plays and haunted houses, and doing SFX makeup. She has a large family that includes 10 adopted siblings and 3 biological ones. Her heart has no limit for who she can love. Open communication and honest is one of her driving characteristics. Sara loves and accepts everyone she meets.
We own our home in a smaller town in Southern Utah. Our home has 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms with an additional office area that Neal framed and build herself in the basement! Our yard is half an acre large with fruit trees, grass, and lots of dog toys scattered around!
Our nursery is firefighter themed and features bedding hand made by Sara!
We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Moose is a spunky half blue heeler half corgi that thinks she is a mountain goat when we go hiking! She is very active and loves to play fetch and run with Neal in mornings.
Vader is an older rescue that we got from the shelter. He loves to cuddle and get loves. He goes for a walk every day and is very popular in the neighborhood.
Simba's nickname is Handsome Boy, because, well come on. Look at that handsome guy. Simba loves to swim and go on hikes! He is a true Adventure Cat.
Neal video chats with her 1 year old nephew, sister, and mother every night. Sara is lucky enough to love within 30 minutes of most of her siblings and parents. She does an acivity with them every few weeks.
Our friends are a part of our family. We spend a lot of time with our crazy group of friends that includes going to comic con and FearCon, haunted houses, game nights, and movie nights, every week.
