Paul & Elizabeth
– Missouri –
We met while working together at J.C. Penney and went on our first date shortly after at Olive Garden. It didn’t take us long to discover
that we share many similar life goals and had instant chemistry. While still dating we discussed adoption, and both agreed that this was something we wanted to pursue in the future. We were married in our home church surrounded by our family and friends. For the past eleven years, we have grown stronger as a couple and our desire to adopt has also become deeper.
Paul’s personality is very easy going and logical. His personality is perfect for making those big life decisions. He is really good at considering others feelings and loving them for who they are. He is always one of the first to volunteer his time to help people.
Paul is a software developer and loves anything that has to do with technology. He also is an incredible cook. He has a talent for taking whatever we have in the kitchen and make a delicious meal. Paul is also very handy.
He grew up on a farm and helped his dad on several construction projects throughout the years.
Elizabeth cares deeply for others in her life and especially children. She has turned her lifelong desire to help children into a career as an Elementary teacher. Elizabeth was on her high school swim team and loves going to the pool. She enjoys watching Friends or Gilmore Girls during summer vacation. She also loves playing with the dogs and taking them for walks.
Our home is our happy place. From the moment we first saw it, in beautiful Missouri, we knew it was the perfect place to raise a family. The home’s four bedrooms, two living areas, finished basement, and fenced in backyard give us a lot of room to grow as a family. Our neighborhood has many young families with kids of all ages. We love to have neighborhood celebrations as often as possible.
We have two dogs Skittles and Gus. Skittles is a Boston Terrier and Husky Mix. She is full of personality and has attention grabbing bright blue eyes. Gus is a Beagle and Basset Hound Mix. He is much more laid back then Skittles. Both of them love to be around children. When our niece and nephews visit they always want to play with the puppies.
Our families are a huge part of who we are and where we came from. They have always been supportive of our adoption plans. Everyone is excited to welcome a new little one into our family. Our future child will be loved unconditionally and will grow up having lots of fun adventures with their cousins.
