Introduction

Hi! We are very active, adventurous family of 3! Our home town is the perfect small town to raise kids, nestled up against beautiful Utah mountains. We love riding motorcycles, side by sides, snowmobiles, and going boating. We love Jesus. We are open to open adoption, and hope we can make a plan with you that fits that needs for everyone, but most importantly your child. We have a large extended family, full of holiday traditions. We are an open book, and would love the opportunity to meet, and get to know you!

About Brayden

Some of Brayden’s favorite things: Dr. Pepper & Reeses pieces Watching Motorcycle Races Taking our son on Motorcycle rides

Brayden’s personality is smart, funny, and kind. He loves to crack jokes, and watch other people laugh. He cares about others, and is always willing to lend a hand to neighbors, employees, and family. He loves to play with our son. Pretty much every day that the weather will allow he is outside teaching our son how to ride a bike, or a motorcycles. When he is working in the garage our son is usually out there with his plastic tools helping dad. He is our son’s favorite, if he gets the choice to go with mom or dad he usually picks dad. ( Unless he is hurt… then he wants his mommy) Brayden was raised working on and riding motorcycles. This has made him an excellent mechanic, and a really good rider.

Some of Steph’s favorite things: Vanilla Coke & Homemade Chocolate chip cookies Watching Netflix at night Taking our son swimming

Steph has a very fun and outgoing personality. She likes to joke around, and make others around her laugh. Her and our son love to have tickle sessions on the living room floor. She currently has a calling working with the youth in our church, and loves spending time with them. She is a great role model, and enjoys helping teach them about Christ. Motorsports is her passion. She loves riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, going boating, wakesurfing, camping, and pretty much anything that is fun outdoors. She cares deeply about others and their well being. We have 45 employees, and she takes the time to get to know them, and often council them through some of the hard times they are having. Caring about people has also made her quick to forgive, and always wanting to see the best in others.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We want you to know that adoption really does mean a lot to us. Steph’s sister placed a child about 12 years ago, and it was the most selfless thing she has ever done. She gave her child a life that she could not, and we have nothing but love and respect for her decision. Her adoption is closed, and that was what was best at the time for her child, and she knew it. We want your adoption to be what is best for your child whether that be open, semi-open, or closed. We are open to any of these options.

Our Parenting Style

Our son is a spirited child. He may only be 3 but he has opinions on everything. We want to make sure that our children know that we hear them. We want them to know it is ok to have an opinion, but that there is also rules that have to be followed. We enforce rules, and have consequences, but we make sure that he understands why. One thing we do not want to do is crush their personality we want to encourage them to be comfortable and confident with who they are. Being respectful to others is very important to us, and we will teach them to respect everyone no matter what faith, career, color, preferences, etc. Jesus taught us to love thy neighbor. He did not teach to love thy neighbor only if they have the same opinions as you, same faith, etc. Christ is at the center of our home. We both have a strong faith in God, and we are teaching our son all that we can about Christ. We want our children to know that they always have Christ on their side if they will let him be with them. We were both taught that you have to work for your dreams, and that they will not be just handed to you. Our plan is to instill this in our kids. They will have chores and responsibilities that are age appropriate. We want to make sure they know that school is important, grades are important. With our children the most important thing is that they know they are loved, and that we will support them in their dreams. Whether that be going to college, starting a business, traveling the world. We want to make sure they get to be their best selves.

Our Story

Our Story

Our hometown is the perfect little town, nestled up against the mountain side. No stop light, no grocery store, just quite country life. We are far enough away to enjoy the outdoors, and see the stars, but close enough to be able to make a run into town for family ice cream, or a movie. We just finished building our forever home here, and cannot imagine living anywhere else. We both want our kids to grow up in a house that will always be there home. Steph’s parents live next door, and we love spending time with them. Our typical morning is full of cuddles in our bed with our 3 year old, and often times we all eat breakfast there. At night we love to snuggle up on the couch, eat snacks, and watch something on Netflix all together

In our new home we already have a room for a nursery right across from our bedroom. We love the outdoors, and whether we are able to adopt a boy or a girl their room will be filled with cute little animals! The room we have set aside for our nursery has a french door opening, and a large window with a beautiful view of the valley. We cannot wait to finish it for our little one!

We are currently a family of 3, hoping to grow of course! Our family is very outgoing, and loves to travel… like a lot. We are very lucky to be able to get to go see new places often. We have a family business with Steph’s Dad, and we get to go on trips as a family 5-6 times a year at least. We love Motorsports! Motorcycles, ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Watercraft are all activities we get to do all together all the time. Our son loves to ride, and has his own little electric motorcycle! ( See our instagram or facebook for fun videos) Our family is very close. We really do have the best village to help with our children. Everyone is so willing to drop whatever they are doing to help in whatever way possible if needed.

We have our dog Thor, and our goats Turbo & Nitro! Thor is a beautiful Collie ( like Lassie- if you have seen that super old show ) He is very gently, and loving with our son. He loves to shake your hand, and wishes he was small enough to be a lap dog. Turbo & Nitro are our pygmy goats that roam around our 9 acres. They are so funny to watch head butt each other, and they always sleep by Thor. I think they think he is their protector, but he is too much of a softy to protect much. We love to BBQ on our back patio, and have all three of them hang out with us their.
