Colby is kind, artistic, patient, outgoing and funny. We often say his typical, corny jokes are pretty “Dad-tastic”! One of Colby’s most endearing qualities is his determination to provide and give security to his family. He’s a big advocate for education and his college degree has allowed him to pursue his dream job as a design engineer. Because of how well he leads our family, Angi is blessed to have the gift of being a stay at home Mom.
Colby loves watching Indiana basketball & on game days you can catch him wearing his candy stripe gym pants.
Angi is a hard worker, has an optimistic zeal for life and is a creative spirit. If there’s one thing besides her family that Angi loves, it’s adventure and exploration. She enjoys going on road trips to check out new locations, being physically active, and helping to remodel homes. But beyond that, Angi’s really just a humble, down to earth woman with farm town roots. She loves selflessly and really enjoys life to its fullest.
Stay At Home Mom
Angi loves making Mickey Mouse pancakes on Saturday mornings.
Hi! We’re excited for this opportunity to connect with you! We respect you for your courage in pursuing a loving, forever home for your child. Hopefully by getting to know the families who are eager to adopt, your decision may seem a little less difficult. Please feel encouraged knowing that many, including us, desire to cherish and come along side you and your child with our whole hearts. As challenging and rewarding as adoption is, we’ve learned it takes several people all coming together for the greater love of a child and we are ready to be a part of it again! In the beginning of our marriage, we discovered Angi was going through ovarian failure and doctors told us it would take a miracle to have children. But with that news, this path has always been God’s first choice for us and we’re hopeful that through adoption our little miracles will come. We were blessed with our bold and spunky two-year-old daughter, Brielle, through domestic adoption a couple of years ago. Brielle’s a girly girl who loves pink, is willing to energetically explore the outdoors, and enjoys making new friends. As her parents, we are committed to making sure she knows how special she is and to helping her grow and thrive. Because of Colby’s determination to provide and give security to our family, his college degree has allowed him to pursue his dream job as a design engineer and has given Angi the gift of being a stay at home Mom. Throughout the week, our family loves to be active so we make sure to try new things while including several of our favorite activities. We have our traditional Friday pizza and a movie night, we’re members at our local zoo, enjoy bike riding to the park, and love spending time with our extended family and friends. But in reality, we like doing most anything as long as we’re together. Choosing the right family to place your child with is a very hard decision and we can’t imagine how heavy your heart must feel. We care deeply for what you are going through and would love to hear about the life you desire for your child. If we’re fortunate to be the family to love and provide for your child, we will be forever grateful to you for being the answer to our prayers and will celebrate your child every day of our lives. Thank you for taking time to consider our family and we look forward to prayerfully being a part of your adoption plan!
As parents we believe in leading by example and helping a child to nurture their God given unique gifts and talents. We do not believe in corporate punishment and feel it’s not the best way to teach a child. We believe in finding what motivates the child and then use that as a tool to help a child to make good choices. Each child is unique and discipline truly needs to be age appropriate. The legacy we want to leave is one that points our children to our Savior, Jesus Christ. When the time comes that they are adults and ready to spread their wings, our hope is that their character and actions towards other reflect the goodness and truth that is in God. And, that they will be able to go out in the world and face life challenges confidently, knowing their family loves them unconditionally and forever.
