Building Our Family Through Adoption

Dear Expectant Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us, learn about us, and consider us as you make the most difficult decision of who will parent your child. We hope as you read about us that you see the love we have for one another, our families, and our future child. We both love children and have always wanted to be parents, even before we were married. After trying to get pregnant for five years and learning of our infertility issues, we prayed, and decided to pursue adoption. If you decide to make an adoption plan, we want to assure you that we respect you and whatever level of openness you want to have with us and your child. We feel it is very important for them to know their story and respect whatever you are comfortable with. We promise to love and cherish your child with all of our hearts, and provide a safe and happy home for them to grow in. We will give them all the support and guidance we can and every opportunity possible for them to achieve their goals and dreams. We are praying for you and your sweet baby through your journey. We admire you for choosing life and considering adoption. We know you want what is best for your baby, and we pray you have the strength and courage you need, and we pray you will find us to be all that you hope for your child. Love, Tim & Jessica

Our Parenting Style

We both plan to nurture the values of family, faith, love, education, and hard work our children. We are ready to make sacrifices as our parents did to make things happen for our children so they have every opportunity. We want to be involved, attentive to needs, create a fun environment, while teaching our child manners and values. We hope to maintain a balance of control and warmth in our home. Positive reinforcement is important as well as providing discipline as necessary. We both believe it is important to set clear boundaries and expectations for a child. We strive to stay on the same page and keep communication open. We will advocate for our child in regards to health, education, and their goals. We want to be active in our child’s life and participate in activities that interest them and keep them busy. We are also open to learning new parenting skills as needed.

Our Story

Our Story

We reside in a one story rambler style home with a full finished basement. The home was built in 1976 by Jessica’s parents. The upstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. We have a screened in porch on the back of the home that is nice to enjoy in the Spring and Fall. We live on 1 acre of land with a big backyard.

Our nursery is set up and ready to go, painted in teals, grays, and yellows to welcome a boy or girl or both! We have already started a collection of children’s books as we can’t wait to read to our child every day.

We have a 3 year old Husky named Luna, who loves to play and is very loving and gentle. She loves to travel with us when we go camping and play with other dogs. She is spoiled!

Tim & Jessica both grew up in homes that are big on celebrating the holidays and birthdays. Both of our families love Christmas and Easter. Tim & Jessica enjoy baking cookies and desserts for each holiday as well as spending an evening making a gingerbread house. Even as adults we enjoy Easter egg hunts at Jessica’s Moms. We attend both of our family’s christmas eve church services and then go drive around to look at christmas lights.
