Introduction

Hello!

We’re so glad you’re here! Our names are Laura and Matt, and this is our son, Hudson. We are a home study approved, adoption-ready family living in Southern California. We know there is a child out there meant to be a part of our family and we can’t wait to connect! Maybe someone out there is facing an unplanned pregnancy. Maybe, just maybe, you’ll be the one(s) to help make our dream come true of completing our little family.

Thank you so much!

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Dear Expectant Mother,

As we write this, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion, and also with love and gratitude. We are Laura and Matt. We are so very grateful that you love your unborn child so much that you are considering adoption for them. We are parents, so we know the power of unconditional love. It is a power so strong we put our child’s needs before our own. We also know that this must be the most difficult decision you have ever had to make. Our hearts go out to you, and we are here for you as you go through this process.

We hope you will consider us as a family for your child. Such a gift would be an honor and privilege. We have so much love to give. We will provide your child with a safe, stable home full of opportunities where they will always be accepted for who they are. There’s so much more to share, and we want to get to know you! We welcome an open adoption but understand if you prefer it to be closed. Either way, they will know that their mom made the most loving choice possible for them. We can’t wait to speak with you. Thank you so much!

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that is located in a very nice, safe neighborhood. The elementary school is right down the street. Our house is full of life and energy. We’re a family that plays and laughs together. Out the front door is a big green belt where family football games, scooter rides, or nerf gun battles ensue with our dog, Kanga, chasing after us. At the end of the night, we all snuggle up on the couch to watch a show and read books before bedtime with Kanga in our laps.

We are blessed to have a large extended family. It seems like it’s always someone’s birthday or there’s holiday to celebrate! Our get-togethers are full of laughs, board games, and our son’s 12 cousins running in different directions. Before long, we’re playing a game of touch football in the backyard. It’s exhilarating and exhausting, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Family is everything to us. So after getting married, we were anxious to start our own. Never in a million years could we have imagined that we would face a battle with infertility. Out of five rounds of IVF, we were blessed with Hudson. Since Hudson was born, we’ve tried several more rounds unsuccessfully. Through our struggles with infertility, we learned something about ourselves. We are strong, and dedicated to make our dream of growing our family come true. We know, without a doubt, that there is a child who is meant to be a part of our family. Hudson was a miracle through IVF, and we are praying to be blessed with another miracle through adoption. Hudson can’t wait to be a big brother, and we know he will be a great one.
