Rachele was born & raised in Chicago. She joined the Army while in high school, and then she went to college & law school. She serves in the Army as an attorney and her career has focused on special victim cases. She's deployed once to Afghanistan. She enjoys running, cooking, spending time with her family, and really enjoys combining all these running 5ks as a family or making messes in the kitchen together. She loves planning family adventures and is a go-go-go person, but she also loves to cuddle, to be super lazy in her favorite sweatpants, and to laugh so hard that her sides hurt. She yearns to give her family's love to an expected mamma seeking adoption. Rachele feels blessed to be accept another child into her family to bring even more joy to their family adventures. According to Nathan: "Rachele gives selflessly to others and our family every single day. She tries so hard to make everyone happy & to make everything special for those she loves. Rachele is not just sweet & kind, but she's balanced with fierceness & determination. Sometimes I seriously don't know how she does it all, but her heart is huge and she keeps this family running. She has so much love and energy to give as we continue to grow our family."
Na than was born in Louisiana and moved to Tennessee in high school. After college, he started his career as an Field Artillery officer in the Army. Since then, he's deployed to Haiti, Iraq, and Afghanistan & he's been stationed in 7 different states -serving with the 101st, 82nd, and Special Forces. He is a paratrooper & a Ranger. He loves baseball and has a goal for us to visit every major league base ball stadium. (So far, we are at 15 stadiums!). Becoming a father gave him the opportunity to coach t-ball, be goofy with our energetic sons, and share his love of Tennessee football. He looks forward to growing our family. According to Rachele: "Although Nathan is our "tough Army guy," he is such a sweet, kindhearted man. He is my rock and he never ceases to amaze me. He's compassionate yet strong. He's loyal and honest. If I ever doubt myself, he is always there. He's just an awesome dad - not even thinking twice about dancing on stage with Cookie Monster to make his kids smile. His number one mission is to be a great father and to raise his children to be good people. He goes above & beyond every day to raise his children with all the love, support, and protection he could possibly give. "
