As Told By Trevor- Jennifer is an energetic person both physically and socially. She has a great love for life & truly loves all people. People drawn to her for her energy & the feeling of acceptance they receive from her. During her free time you can often find Jennifer working out with one of the children. She loves being physically active and exploring the world any way she can. One of her favorites is Mountain Biking, a hobby we picked up as a couple a few years ago, that has now spread to a family activity. Another is dance, a love that she enjoys sharing with our daughter. Whatever it is she is doing, she ALWAYS has our children and family on her mind. For Jennifer, there is no greater importance in this world then the family she gets to care for. As an Stay-at-Home Mom she put a career on hold to give her full attention to making our home and family the most supported place of comfort and growth. There are always living room dance parties, late night conversations with a child, gentle hugs when someone is hurt or a loud holler of encouragement from a sideline. Whatever it is a person in our family needs, she will be there for it.

The Journey you are taking is a journey of incredible love, courage, selflessness and bravery. We know you are likely having intense emotions and that we cant comprehend what you might be dealing with. The weight of life can be overwhelming sometimes and our prayers right now are for you to find the best path for both you and your child. We know you are spending your days and nights planning to give this child the best life possible. We want to thank you for even considering us as a option of their best life possible, it is truly an honor. We know you are looking for a home filled with love, stability and happiness and we are looking to to share our home with another sweet child. We know we already love you. We are filled with faith that you will know what is very best for this baby.

Our Parenting Style

As parents, we believe our children are the most precious and valuable people we get the privilege to have in our lives. As such, we put a high value on teaching, protecting and encouraging them to become the very best they can be. We believe the core of growth, inner peace and joy comes from a well rounded understanding and strive to give this to each of our children. We understand that each child has individual needs and ways they feel loved or supported. We work hard to learn what these things are and then to provide this for each child. We have seen our children thrive when given the tools they need to succeed, as a parent, there is no greater joy then to help and see a child feeling loved and doing what their heart wants them to do.

Our Story

Our Home

Home is our Sanctuary.

Together we work hard to make our home a place of safety, comfort, laughter and peace. As an at-home-mom Jennifer works hard to create an environment where each member of our family finds what their heart is in need of. Each child’s room is their own place of clean, quiet contemplation. They also have space for them to play to their little hearts content and a backyard full of activities to enjoy. We believe home is the starting place to change the world!

Our Family

Jennifer and Trevor

We have been married for 13 wonderful years! We enjoy doing home projects, going out on dates together, weekend getaways, being involved in our children’s hobbies as well as each others hobbies. Together we have had many life adventures. Some of our adventures have been; Moving to new states for work, meeting many new friends and seeing many different cultures. Traveling to seeing different places. Settling down to raise our children in a place they can call “their home-town”. Trips to visit grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Our boat, to spend the very hot summers cooling off on. Hiking and Mountain bike rides in the red rock country.

By far, our favorite adventure has been each of our children! We were blessed to have 3 biological boys. We then had the honor of adopting our daughter. We are excited to have the honor of adding one last little adventure to our loving and happy family!

We are excited to introduce each of our children!

Our first boy is Madtix. He is a 11 year old, 6th grade boy who can capture anyones heart with the flash of his two dimples and contagious smile. As an oldest, he is a born leader and an extrovert. He is sensitive to others on a level that is inspiring to us, and he values the special moments he gets with people. At school Madtix is well liked by all his peers and is known as a very inclusive friend. He is currently on his School’s Lego league, a club that competes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). He also really loves playing Basketball, Golf, Mountain Biking and Flag Football. He also LOVES shoes and is a self proclaimed Sneakerhead!

Easton is our second. He is 9 year old, 4th Grade boy whose tender-loving heart and beautiful big eyes wrap you in love. If our oldest was born a leader, then Easton was born a supporter. He is your ultimate Hype Man. On his sports teams, in addition to being a skilled teammate, he is the BEST at hyping his team up and congratulating each teammate on their successes. He will even reach out to his opponents to offer excitement and encouragement. Easton is currently on his School’s Lego league, a club that competes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). He also really loves playing Basketball, Golf, Baseball and Flag Football. Easton’s ideal day is to play in one of his sports games, come home, snuggle on the couch with family member, a football game on the TV, popcorn in one hand a book in the other.

Kayden, our third child. He is a 7 year old, 1st Grade boy who has no issue keeping up with his older brothers and definitely OOZES coolness. Kayden in naturally athletic, he enjoys sports, gymnastics and hanging out with his brothers. He loves playing video games with his bothers and occasionally dad, on the weekend. He has loved becoming a 1st grader and enjoys being able to read stories to his little sister. Kayden’s favorite color is pink and for his 4th birthday wanted a princess party and cake. If you can even find him, this cool kid snuggles into his bed each night with roughly 500 stuffed animals and blankets.

Amelia is our 4th child. She is a 4 year old, preschooler who is a strong, funny, happy and smart. If her 7 year old is impressive at keeping up with the older two, Amelia will WOW you! She has a commanding personality that makes you feel perfectly content to stay in her presence. She has found a love for dance and currently is in ballet and loves it. She is also the coolest 4 year old hip-hop dancer around. She also likes tumbling and going to preschool. We are excited to get her into the local Pacific Island Dance CO. Amelia is of Pacific Island decent and we LOVE learning about her heritage and honoring traditions specific to her native Islands. We also enjoy learning as much of her native language as we can.
