It can't be easy but we are willing to walk this journey with you.
By Eli: Vanessa is an incredibly committed and kind-hearted person that puts her family above all else. She has made sacrifices for the family, including stepping away from her dream job in order to put the family in a better position for the future. She is a life-long learner that enjoys mentoring and developing others, whether that be young children or PhD students working towards their degree. As a mom, she uses this skill set to help our children understand sound decision making, which will serve them throughout life.
By Vanessa: Eli is a forever learner that enjoys exploring new things. He loves playing the piano and learning new songs to play for us. In his spare time he coaches our son’s flag football team and wrestling team, and is also an avid bee keeper. He finds it exciting to watch our daughter’s gymnastics. Eli has taught me that life doesn’t need to be so complicated. He brought humor and laughter into my daily life. If life throws challenges our way we tackle it together as a team. I couldn’t imagine going on this adventure with anyone else but him.

We love being parents to our two beautiful children, Eli and Alyssa. We encourage their growth by supporting their strengths and nurturing their opportunities. We have been called by God to grow our family again, but through adoption due to fertility challenges with a history of multiple miscarriages. Eli and Alyssa are incredibly excited for a little sibling to embrace, love, and teach.
We certainly would love to learn more about you. Should you select us as Adoptive parents to your baby, we will provide a home full of love, laughter, faith, education, and doggy snuggles. We raise our children to be respectful, honest, kind, courageous, and generous. We would be honored to do the same for your child. We would also ensure your child knows where they come from, and how deeply you love them. To whatever degree you are comfortable, we look forward to sharing in this adventure with you.
We believe raising children in a safe and open environment is very important. Along with supporting each child’s mind, body, and spirit based on the individual child. One child may be shy and require additional guidance on how to come out of their shell. Whereas, another child may be more outgoing and could benefit from being drawn in. It is our role as parents to recognize the personality variations of our children and adjust accordingly.
Our home is on a quiet road with a cul de sac. We have plenty of room to grow our family with enough bedrooms for every child. Our backyard is fenced in with a wooden playset for the kids. Our 5 chickens live in their own coop in the backyard. We know all of our neighbors and Celebrate Halloween and birthdays together. There are many children that live on our road. The Elementary school is less than a mile from our home. There is always something to do in our area. We enjoy going to the zoo, pool, trampoline park, movies, restaurants, and parks. We are a short drive away from beautiful lakes with beaches. In the fall we enjoy local farms and orchards. Ohio Is a beautiful state that we like to explore.
We have 3 adorable dogs: Jax, Lucy, and Maisel. Jax is a 4 year old fox red labrador that loves to cuddle. Lucy is a 5 year old terrier mix that enjoys snuggles under the covers. Maisel is a 3 year old australian cattle mix that adores the outdoors. All 3 love playing with the kids especially when a squeaky ball is involved.
Eli and I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania. Most of our family still lives there so we visit there often. My mother, Debbie, moved to Ohio in 2020 to live with us. She is a huge help and support system for us. When we visit Pennsylvania we always stay at my father-in-law’s lake house. The house is right on a small lake with a private dock. Eli and Alyssa enjoy fishing and riding on the paddle boat. The lake house is a joy to visit at any time of year. My father-in-law visits us multiple times a year. He enjoys coming for the children’s gymnastic meets and wrestling tournaments. My father and step mother try to visit at least once or twice a year. Holidays
are always a good time for us to get together. When family visits for Christmas it’s a tradition that everyone wear matching holidays pajamas. Even though a lot of our family lives in PA they do their best to stay in touch and visit for important family events. Just this past year we celebrated Alyssa’s First Holy Communion with our family in Ohio.
We are ready for this new adventure and blessed to travel it with you. We promise a home full of love, support, and safety with every opportunity to thrive. We can ensure you that by selecting us, your child will be raised by adoptive parents with a lot of experience being parents. Parenting is not easy, but it is a journey and one we take very seriously. But at the same time, life should be fun and children should be encouraged to follow their dreams. We are here to support our children in whatever way possible. We are extremely EXCITED to add a baby to our family! Having 2 children is a huge blessing, but if we can love and nurture another child and extend our family to you, our family will be complete.
