Bradley is a gentle, kind soul, whose sense of patience is matched only by his desire to engage and learn more about people. He is an excellent listener, but more importantly, he is an excellent learner and is always willing to try new things and take on any new challenge that comes his way. Bradley is an avid runner and completed a marathon. He loves to ski, go to concerts, and take our dog, Jack, for walks. Bradley is also incredibly selfless, having served as a volunteer tutor each Saturday morning for four years, and currently a tutor teaching English to adult learners as a weekly volunteer. On top of all his work as a volunteer, he has a successful career as a Project Manager. He has always been a dedicated hard worker but is looking forward to spending time off to raise a child. Bradley is also lucky enough to have a daycare center on-site at work, which will make the transition to going back to work much easier and way more fun! Bradley can’t wait to become a father. He will teach your child to be caring and loving, while also instilling a sense of calm determination to reach any goals that your child sets their mind to.

Adam is the most lovable, funny, and caring person that anyone can ask for. Adam has a love for nature that is undeniable. He is selfless and always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Adam strives to make those around him a better person. Adam is a prolific reader. In 2020 he read 52 books in 52 weeks! He loves reading almost as much as he loves to cook. Adam was born in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to a young mom and dad, and was adopted by a family when he was just four days old. From a young age, he always knew that he was adopted, and was taught to be proud of the family that he was a part of. He truly believes that his upbringing has made him the incredible man he is today. He is humble and brave. He knows he will connect with your child in such a special way and create an unbreakable bond. Adam always puts others before himself, and it is this devotion that will make him a great father.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We are so grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us. Adam was adopted as a child and has had such a positive experience not only with his birth parents but with his adoptive parents as well. We are excited to share aspects of our life with you and to open our hearts and boundless love to your child. We know your decision is exceptionally important, and we will offer your child a life of love, happiness, and support. We are eager for you to learn more about who we are and our desire to become parents. We are thankful that you are considering us as adoptive parents for your child.

Our Parenting Style

We both will be loving, caring, and generous parents. We both are endlessly curious and love reading, so hope to instill a joy of learning in our child! With that said, we also believe in age-appropriate parenting styles for children to ensure that, while our child will love us, they will also rely on us for advice, suggestions, and how to navigate the world around them.

We hope to be responsible, even-keeled, and thoughtful parents. Because Adam is adopted himself, we think our parenting style will be welcoming of all the amazing things our child will have to offer the world – helping him or her to explore their own unique interests, hobbies, and personality.

For us, family comes first – specifically, one another and the child we hope to raise. We both have a strong moral compass, and try to treat others with kindness and dignity, while also remembering the importance of our own strength.

Our Story

Our Home

We live in the funky and diverse U Street neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Your child will be a part of the city, exploring its rich history. We live within four blocks of two public parks and a community center. We are zoned for an excellent bilingual public school, ensuring that your child will learn multiple languages and be surrounded by the city’s diversity. Our neighbors are friendly, and the kids love to ride their bikes up and down the street. It is a wonderful place to grow up. In fact, if the weather is nice enough, we can walk to the Zoo in no time. We cannot wait to raise children here.

Our Pets

Our 9-year-old poodle mix, Jack, is currently the king
of the house, but he can’t wait to welcome another
member to the pack! Jack joins us on our hikes
around the region, eagerly leading the way to be the
first up the trail. Jack’s hobbies include looking for squirrels out of
the window, cuddling up on the couch, and trying to play fetch with
more than one toy at a time (so far unsuccessfully).

Our Family

My (Bradley) family lives outside New York City. We have five nieces and nephews from my two older sisters, Julie and Andrea. We have seen firsthand how their growing families have been the source of immense joy, and we can’t wait to share in such pride by welcoming your child into our lives.

I (Adam) was born in Pittsburgh and my family still lives nearby, while my younger sister, Kaelah, currently resides in Philadelphia. My parents are entering retirement soon and let us know about their desire for grandchildren quite frequently! My family spends every Labor Day in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a tradition that brings us closer every year. I am so lucky to have been adopted into such a supportive family. They have kept my background open and honest and I am thankful for them every day. They show me the true meaning of love.
