Introduction

Our journey has been full of exciting milestones. We bought our first home in 2017, and that's when Brody, our beloved dog, joined our family. He's more than just a pet; he's a cherished member of our pack and even played a role in our wedding, strutting down the aisle in his tuxedo. We have recently relocated closer to our families, cherishing every moment spent with our loved ones. Family means everything to us, and we can't wait to expand ours.

Hi there! I'm Victoria, my husband and I reside in Edison, New Jersey. I've lived in New Jersey all of my life. Growing up I played a lot of softball and was a cheerleader through my high school years. I've always LOVED the arts and creativity, which led me to study at Towson University and graduate with a bachelor's of fine arts, and a concentration in metals and jewelry. For as long as I can remember I loved to make jewelry. When I was younger I used to make jewelry out of sea shells, and acorns, which I spray painted gold. I still love jewelry and now I get to work with it full time as a product engineer at Tiffany & Co. When I'm not designing jewelry, I like to spend time with family, friends and our dog Brody. Brody is our little baby and he does everything with us. I enjoy being active, I'm currently training for a 5k this Thanksgiving. I also Love to garden. I grow a variety of vegetables and flowers. This year I started growing the roses that were in my wedding bouquet. I may seem like I'm always doing something, which is true, but I really do enjoy binge watching TV shows on the couch. Teen drama shows are my guilty pleasure.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

Dear Birth Mom,

We hope this letter finds you well. We want to thank you for your brave

decision. We understand its significance.

Your child will be loved immensely in our family. We are Matt and
Victoria, a couple who fell in love in 2013. We’ve created a warm, loving
home, and family is essential to us. Our dog, Brody, is excited to welcome

a new family member.

We’re committed to open adoption, keeping you involved in your child’s
life. We have various interests and hobbies to share with your child,

celebrating their uniqueness.

Adoption, to us, means embracing heritage and identity. We promise to
raise your child in our Catholic faith with love, respect, and empathy.
Your child’s future will be full of opportunities, support, and love. We
respect and admire your decision. We hope to meet you and start this
journey together, centered on love, trust, and respect. Your child’s

happiness is our priority.
Warm wishes,
Matt and Victoria

Our Parenting Style

We both grew up with laid back families. So our plan is to emulate how we were raised. We’ve definitely been grounded a time or ten, so using the “go to your room” technique is something we think well need to use. We hope to be the fun parents, but also teach our kids to be respectful and empathetic. Seeing children get bullied and made fun of really hurts. We want to show our children that its wrong to bully others and to be kind to everyone. We would like to instill the importance of teamwork as well. Throughout life it is important to be a team player, whether you’re on the field, in the classroom, or even at work. It shows your respect and consideration for others. Lastly, love, we want our children to always know that we love them, and we would do anything for them. We will always be there for them no matter what.

Our Story

Our Home

We recently sold our first home together In Bloomfield NJ, and moved to Edison NJ. Edison is closer to both our families and since were starting our own we thought it would be nice to be closer. We closed on our new house the day before Matt’s brother got married. It was hectic to say the least. We moved two days after the wedding. Our new house has a great size backyard and we put in an above ground pool this summer with a patio. I also got right to planting my garden as soon as we moved in. I think I planted before I unpacked my clothes! Our house has five bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Right now we have a guest room with a mattress, but were still trying to pick out furniture. for the time being we each have our office space so we can work from home. The Kitchen and living area is great for hosting, which we enjoy doing!

Our Nursery

We just moved into our new house in April. We have the nursery room picked out, but haven’t added to it yet. Last weekend we went to look for paint options! we found such a cute green that will be perfect for a boy or girl. the color is called “Bonsai Tint” picture a sage green color, but a little bit brighter. Its perfect! We have looked as some furniture as well, but have not purchased yet. We wanted to pick out a wall color to decorate around that. We found some crib options too, We really like how the crib can be converted into a toddler bed! I’m (Victoria) a little superstitious, so I haven’t bought clothes or anything yet, but the one thing I did purchase was an alphabet legends book that is Taylor Swift inspired. :)

Our Pets

We have one dog, Brody. We rescued him four years ago. He’s a small guy, about 19 lbs. He is SO loveable though. He loves walks, car rides and running on the beach. We take him almost everywhere with us. He doesn’t bark much and loves people, that’s why its so easy for us to take him places. He’s like a little kid, when we’re eating he’s looking up at us to drop some food. His favorite spot is snuggling up on our legs, or under the blanket. Brody has been around countless babies and toddlers. He usually gives them some smells and a kiss hello and then brings them his toys.

Custom Section

We love Halloween! We got married on 10/29, so we tried to incorporate as much Halloween into our day as we could. The last song of the night we came out with pumpkin heads on and danced with our family and friends. It was awesome! and such a funny memory.
