We are extremely grateful and excited to become parents for the first time through adoption. We are a family that believes in being the best version of our unique selves. We love unconditionally, encourage curiosity and we hope our profile gives you a glimpse into our hearts and family. Jerrmi and I recognize the strength and courage required to make such a huge and important decision for you and your child.
I’m a stay-at-home fur-momma in hopes to add a forever child to our family to love. I currently work as a Pastoral Administrative Assistant and secretary for our church and also work as a Benefits Liaison Ambassador and own my own little craft LLC business from our lovely home. In 2020 I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with my B.S in business administration and just this past September 2023 I graduated from SNHU with my MBA with a dual master’s in organizational leadership. Jerrmi and I have been blessed throughout our lives to give us the opportunity to travel to many different parts of the US. I love to be outdoors whether it is camping, hiking, kayaking, eating smores by the campfire with family, or indulging in a wonderful book on our back porch with our dogs. We are also part of the Disney Vacation Club and visit Disney World a few times throughout the year. However, no matter what we do in life, we always enjoy spending time with our family and friends, telling stories and sharing laughs and making lasting memories.
I’m currently serving as a bi-vocational Senior Pastor of a loving church and working in business development with our local utility board. My wife and I are praying to add a forever bundle of joy to our family. In 2010 I graduated from Morehead State University with my bachelor’s in business administration. I truly enjoy exploring life with my family, being outdoors, hiking, outdoor photography, and being an avid reader. One motto I strive to live by is “life is to short not to laugh and make lasting memories with the ones you love and hold dear”.
We are so appreciative that you’ve taken the time to learn about us. While we haven’t met you yet, we know you are strong, selfless, and courageous, and for that, we couldn’t be more grateful. We have always known adoption would be part of our journey. We planned to have biological children but after the disappointment of an unsuccessful pregnancy and many years of trying to conceive, we knew this was the best path to grow our family. We have built a beautiful life together filled with love, commitment, and adventure and we are so excited to share it with a child. We are lucky to have an incredibly supportive family and tribe of friends behind our choice to adopt who are eager to meet the newest member of our family.
Our family is warm, loving, and supportive. We are extremely open-minded and forward thinking, and your child will be embraced with open arms. You will always be honored and respected in our home. While we can’t pretend to know what you’re feeling, we want you to know that we will embrace and support you however we can. We truly can’t wait to make our dreams of parenthood a reality, and we look forward to maintaining the level of openness that you are comfortable with. We are sending you strength and love during this process.
We always try to lead by example and with tremendous amounts of love. In our home we laugh a lot and support each other, so, our parenting style encourages empathy and responsiveness between Jerrmi and I as parents and the child. When we would need to discipline, we would do it out of love and never anger. We would respond to the child’s individual needs with sensitivity, practice a nurturing touch, ensuring the child is safe both emotionally and physically, we would provide loving care and use a very positive discipline when needed. We would make sure our children know the natural consequences of their actions and help have choices in things. Our main goal is to balance the child’s personal life and their family life with us as their parents. We promise to love our children unconditionally regardless of race, gender, or background.
We live in a very quiet, safe, diverse, and welcoming neighborhood which is filled with young children of all ages who are always excited to come and play with our sweet Weimaraner’s; Winston, Alana, and Isabella.
Our suburban home has three full bedrooms which include a full nursery for our forever child, a home office, our master bedroom, and plenty of spacious room for our family to enjoy. We have a very large fenced-in backyard making it a wonderful place to play and grow. We live a couple miles from our city’s public park, which is equipped with a wonderful playground, walking trails, different sport fields, and ponds. We are also very blessed to live an hour from the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains where we spend most of our weekends enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
We love our home as it is filled with many memories of love and laughter. We are a very close-knit family and are extremely lucky to live within a few miles of our family. Jerrmi and I grew up with family who showered us with unconditional love and support, and we strive to do the same as we go through life. We look forward to making these same unforgettable memories as a mother and father.
