Anna & Michael

- New York -

Introduction

We met in Queens. Anna was working as a waitress in a restaurant. Anna was always smiling and cheerful. The food was mediocre, but it was Anna’s smile that had me visiting the restaurant frequently. I finally asked Anna out for a date and we have been inseparable ever since. We have been together for almost 14 years. Our relationship is solid because we make a great team by communicating and balancing our strengths and weaknesses.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We are so glad you came to check us out! We’re so grateful for the brave and loving choices you’re making for this precious child.

You are meeting us because we’re ready to grow our family through adoption. We haven’t been able to have another child biologically and we know we have so much more love to give.

We are blessed to have an amazingly supportive and diverse group of family and friends around us. They are excited we are adopting and are ready to share their love and acceptance.

Being parents is the most important thing in the world to us. We want you to know how seriously we take this, and that we would love this child, keep them safe from harm, and give them every advantage in life that we possibly can.

We are here to answer any questions you might have. Whatever you decide, we are grateful that you are considering us as adoptive parents for your baby.

Our Story

Our Home

Our home is very cozy. We have a play area where we can play with toys and color. We can sit and read in the reading corner. Our living room has larger than life couches which are perfect to snuggle up in and watch our favorite Disney movies with popcorn. Our large dining room table is perfect for family dinners and competitive games of monopoly.

Our home sits on a quiet street in Queens, NY. Within a 5 minute walk of our house is the beautiful NYC skyline.  New York City is a twenty minute train ride where we enjoy Broadway plays and the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

Our neighborhood is in an excellent school district. We can walk to three parks, with playgrounds and sports fields. A nearby preserve has a lake with hiking and biking trails.

Our Family

Our Son Nicholas, is heading off to college! Michael joined our family when Nicholas was 4 years old. Michael is not a stepdad to Nicholas. He is Nicholas’s dad and treats him like his own son. Nicholas is an outgoing and cheerful young man. He is an athlete and enjoys helping around the house. He loves to play with and entertain his cousins. Nicholas has always wanted to be a big brother. He talks about teaching them how to read, play sports, and ride a bike.
