Alan & Elizabeth
– Missouri –
Hello and thank you for taking the time to look a little bit into our lives. We recognize that the decision to place your child for adoption is not made lightly, and we are awed at your strength, courage, and selflessness.
Our hearts, our family, and our home is ready to welcome a new addition to our family with open arms. We have had a calling to adopt for the last couple of years, and we are so excited to begin this journey. We hope you enjoy looking through our profile.
As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. While we are anxiously awaiting for the call to say that we have been chosen, we hope that you choose us to provide a warm, safe, fun, and loving home for your child.
Alan has three beautiful sons from his previous marriage. He is the most caring and family oriented man that I know. He spends his days working hard to make sure his family has everything we need. From operating his family owned business, to working on the farm, to coaching little league, and volunteering at church, Alan always puts family first. I am so blessed to walk through life with him, and the children we raise together.

Elizabeth is the most genuine and sweetest person I know. She is supportive and makes everyone smile. She is a wonderful wife and the best mother I could ask for to my three sons. One of the things I love most about Elizabeth is her belief in education. She is always willing to volunteer at the schools, going on field trips, and is always helpful with homework. She has so much love to give, and is truly a rare gem.

We live in a quiet small country town and have a beautiful 4 bedroom farmhouse style home nestled on 4+ acres on a private no-thru street.
Our home is filled with love, laughter and shenanigans daily. We have quiet cozy couch days and host loud family gatherings, and everything in between.
We love playing backyard baseball, going on an adventure in the woods, gathering around the fire and roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets from our back deck.
Bailey is a 6 year old black labrador. She loves to cuddle and play fetch. We aren't sure how she does it, but she manages to cover herself up with blankets. Bailey is well trained and knows many commands. She has earned herself free range of the house about 2 years ago. While she is very protective of her humans, she is also extremely gentle.
Abigail is a 1 year old weimaraner. She is an energetic ball of joy that makes us laugh every day, especially with the way she sits on car rides. She is still working on more advanced commands, but knows the basics and listens very well. Abigail is still going through crate training before she will be released to have free range. She is very gentle with her humans and loves to run!
A blind date that turned into a shared and blended life. And how we became a family of 5.
We were set up on a blind date on December 9, 2016. The date ended up being Alan's Christmas party. We clicked instantly. On September 29, 2018 we were married.
Alan was a single father to three beautiful boys when he met Elizabeth; Elizabeth had a hysterectomy at a young age. The boys fell in love instantly with her, and even began referring to her as mom. On May 20, 2019, Elizabeth officially became their adoptive mother.
It is a unique story, but that is what makes it special to us. But this is just the beginning. Our story isn't over yet! We are patiently waiting for our sixth family member to arrive to complete our family.
