Hi we are Chasity and Curtis and we are from Utah. Our house is full of love and animals. With three cats, one turtle, and fish. We in stray cats until they can be re-homed. We have one now which makes it four cats. Chemistry and Art are the two main hobbies in our home. We do go camping, fishing, rock hunt and pan for gold. We love going to amusement/water parks, riding the rides and cooling down in the pools. We travel as much as we can. Our recent trip was to Punta Cana,where we went deep sea-fishing. We also go to Vegas since we got married there. Seeing the shows, eating all the wonderful foods. Chasity’s family lives in Oklahoma, or Colorado, so we visit often. Curtis family lives in Utah.
I love to paint and make things out of nothing.In fact I just built our TV stand out of old drawers from a broken dresser. I love the fact that I get to work with kids as an elementary school kitchen manager. Holidays are one of my favorite times of the year. Decorating the house is fun to me. Christmas is my favorite. The lights and smells of baking while you spend time with your families is such a wonderful time. We love touring the town looking at all the lights lit up and decorating the Christmas tree while baking cookies and building gingerbread houses is a tradition that is a must in this house. I’m always asking someone to play a board game with and can play a mad game of monopoly.
I am a lab technician and love every minute of it. I am continuing my education to get a degree in chemistry so I can move up in my career. Seeing how things work and mixing things together is very interesting to me. You can always find me digging for new rocks for my collection and taking out my metal detector with my dad. I'm always reading about something and it’s never the same subject as before. I'm always looking for something to learn about and do. Like, now I'm learning how to make pasta noodles.
Our home is a four bedroom, three bath house that’s off the main road and tucked behind two other houses. Making our front yard safe to play in. Our backyard is covered in trees that cuts out the noise from the city. They also have plenty of space to make a tree house when they get older. The Neighborhood is busy but stays pretty quiet. During the summer time we have a neighborhood BBQ and we have a neighborhood watch. No matter which direction you go you can find many shops and parks. The mall is minutes away with a beautiful park that has a water playground for those hot summer days. There's always a show or concert going on or some festival. Curtis isn't much for crowds but Chasity is always open to go anywhere.
The room we have picked out for the nursery is right next door to us. We originally had set it up to be a spare room so right now it is all a light purple color. Which Chasity’s mom and her plan to paint a mural of the Lorax on one of the walls. We are a Dr. Suess fan in this house. Along with anything Disney or Harry Potter! This room will be perfect to grow up in since it has a big closet and it’s own bathroom. Perfect for a growing child.
We have three cats Tig,Bella and Luna. We also have a turtle named Steve and a few fish. Cats roam the house like they own it, which they do. The backdoor is a glass door that opens up to a beautiful view of the trees and mountains which they love to sit at and watch the birds and the family of squirrels.
Curtis has one sister that is married and has three kids. His parents are still married and live two blocks away from us. With mini horses, a dog, cat, and a huge backyard for kids to run around in. Chasity has two brothers, one older and one younger. Older brother is married with one kid. Younger brother is engaged, no kids. Her mother lives close to her brothers in Colorado, which we go see them as often as we can. Her family lives in a tiny town in Colorado is surrounded by mountains and plenty of lakes to fish at.
Well you have already read some of our traditions above. However we like to make a tradition around all the holidays as we go do something that is going on for that holiday. Like, for Halloween we will go the fright night which is a haunted house and maze. Easter we hang out with family and we hide eggs for all the little's. On Christmas Eve Chasity's family would put up wrapping paper all the way from floor to ceiling to keep us from peeking and we would crash through it on Christmas day. This was so much fun I plan to do it for our child.
