We can’t wait to welcome a new baby to our family.
If multiple children (twins or siblings) are placed in our home, Logan plans to transition into a stay-at-home dad until the children are old enough for preschool or 4yr kindergarten.
We live in a charming 3 bedroom home with a beautiful backyard (swing set and sandbox included!) with flower gardens and a cherry tree in the front yard. We have a prairie restoration area right across the street that brings lots of wildlife to the neighborhood (geese, turkeys, deer, sand hill cranes, and lots of song birds) and we are not far from Lake Michigan so we see lots of seagulls and pelicans too!
We are still working on our nursery, but have begun to decorate with llamas and alpacas. R has been helping to pick out artwork for the nursery. She can’t make up her mind on a new rug, so the nursery is using her old rug for now.
We have 2 Labrador retrievers, Grue and Grenda. We also share our home with 3 cats, 2 boys - Zang and Oni - and 1 female Sphynx Agnes (hairless cat). They’re all very loving and friendly. They keep us laughing with their silly antics.
We are very close with our families. We visit them, they visit us, and we video chat all the time so we can stay close to our siblings and parents.
