Many of our Expectant Mothers are in legitimately challenging situation and may be experiencing financial or life hardships. They join to find the perfect family for their baby. But scammers and fraud are everywhere, and we need to be aware of the signs. Scams and fraud are an internet-wide problem. Regardless of the site, or organization, they target them all.
Whatever platform you are on, it is always important to protect yourself.
Adoption scams could be through emotional distress or financial gain. Being aware of the signs of scams or other fraudulent schemes is important.
Scammers will generally contact many families in a short span of time. When communication with expectant mothers please remember the following:

It is imperative for you to do your homework, by look up email addresses, photos, and other information online. Use scam boards that are available on social media to families.

***You may request to have an Expectant Mother member removed from the site. Please send us the user’s screen name, we will investigate the situation and determine if removal is the best outcome. If you are receiving fraudulent messages or calls, please report to us ASAP.
