Hello Expecting Parent(s),
We are pleased to hear that you are considering us to parent your sweet child. We are thrilled at the opportunity to continue growing our family and cannot wait! We have been struggling with infertility for 8 years. In the meantime we have come to know that through adoption we will be able to make our family complete. Many prayers have been said to know if this was the right decision for us or not, but each time we would receive the same answer of adoption. We have felt the love of our Savior through this trying time and we have peace and comfort in our decision.
In 2020 we adopted our daughter and surrounded her in love. We have been so blessed by the selfless decision her birth mother made. She is truly the best and we love her dearly. Adoption has blessed our lives and brought joy to our hearts nothing else in this world could fill.
We feel comfortable with an open or semi-open adoption plans; we are more than willing to send photos, videos and letters during events and milestones in the child’s life. We are willing to make visits work if you would like. We really want what is best for the child and for the birth parent(s). We feel that this is something we will figure out together because the child is the most important part.
We feel the need to let you know more about us as you make your decision going forward. Mark was raised with one brother and 3 sisters. He has 2 nieces and 2 nephews on his side of the family. He has grown up hunting, fishing, skiing, boating, playing basketball, playing baseball, and even played volleyball on his high school team. Mark likes to fix anything that is broken and is always creating new projects in his shop. He loves to go looking for wildlife outside and finds joy in the little things in life, like sunrises, sunsets and meadowlarks singing. Mark works hard to provide for our family at work and at home.He always has a great attitude about life and things to come.
Lindsey grew up in a large family; she is number 7 out of 8 children. Her 7 siblings have been a great example to her throughout her life. She has too many nieces and nephews to count! We believe the count is around 22 at the moment. Lindsey loved dance growing up and begged her mother until she enrolled her in it. She has many friends because she is so easy to get along with. Service is a very important aspect to her life and she loves helping out friends, family and neighbors. Lindsey has a fun-loving and a bit sassy personality. She is hardworking, tidy and thrifty. She lives with faith and hope in the future, and a “keep moving forward” mentality.
Sophie is our pride and joy! She was born in December 2020 and was the best Christmas present we could have ever asked for! Her birth mother placed her in our arms and she has been such a blessing to have in our family. She is loving and sweet to everyone around her! Her favorite things are puppies, babies, grandma and grandpa. She loves to play in the water and is excited for swimming lessons and gymnastics this year (or at least mom is). She is spunking and loves to make new friends. She will be the best big sister ever!
Our Neighborhood and Home We live in what most people would consider to be a small town in Northern, UT. Our neighborhood borders farmland and cattle grazing areas to the north and our small town to the south. We live in a rambler style home with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, an office, and a decent sized fenced-in yard. Our backyard consists of an area for our dog, Sage with his kennel and doghouse, a shed, a garden area where Lindsey can grow her yearly harvest of fruits and veggies (a skill she learned from her father), and a large grassy area. Our neighborhood has a mix of mostly young families with kids, with a few elderly couples as well. Once the weather warms up, it is a pretty active place with kids playing, and people out running, jogging, or working in their yards. Numerous times during the summers, our neighborhood hosts block parties, (barbecues, yard sales, yard games, etc.) We love the good people that surround us, and we all do our best to look out for one another.
That is a little about us. We would love the opportunity to get to know you better so please let us know if there is anything we can do for you or if you have any more questions. We are available any evening to talk via phone, email, skype, etc. We feel it an honor that you are taking the time to consider us. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing an adoption story with you.
With Love, Lindsey, Mark and Sophie Loscher (#Teamloschadopts)
We believe that our kids should explore the world in a safe way. As long as our kids are safe we will let them explore, run, jump, bike, climb and learn new things. We have rules in the house they need to learn and am teaching them slowly and in a way that’s easy for them to understand. We talk though tantrums and have learned breathing skills to help calm us all down. We are working on quickly turning tantrums around in a positive way!
Mark is Safety Dad! He is overly cautious an always keeping an eye on our daughter. He is the protector for sure! He is all about big hugs when he gets home from work and makes it a point to play with us when he is home. We love playing together as a family but believe that rules are important to have a functioning home and relationships.

Our nursery is located right across from our bedroom allowing us to hear any cries during the night. We have a bassinet that stays in our bedroom for the baby to sleep in when they are too little to sleep in a big crib. Once they are bigger we will move them to the crib in the other bedroom. We like to keep our house clean to provide the best learning environment that we can.
We have one German Shorthair Pointer. Her name is Sage. She is super good with our daughter and they are best friends. She is the sweetest puppy! Mark likes to take her out hunting and Sophie loves to take her for walks. She is an outside dog and has free roam of the backyard all day and loves it!
We love to hang out together as a family! We have lots of fun things planned for the summer and are excited to do lots of projects as well. I love our little family and are so excited to add another baby to our home! Sophie will be the best big sister because she is so kind and caring. She also is obsessed with babies!
We have been praying everyday to expand our family. We feel that our daughter was made to be a big sister and we would love to have more kids to add to our team! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us!
