We are Chris and Julie Ritchie. We have been married for 18 years. We met at church camp in the 5th grade. We lived in different towns but always kept in touch. We dated for two years then got married in 2004. We always knew we wanted children are so excited to grow our family through adoption. We have a twelve year old daughter and she is the absolute light of our lives. We would be honored with the chance to talk with you and get to know you.
Written by her husband Chris: Julie is loving, honest, loyal, and a blast to be around. Julie is an incredible mother to our daughter and would do anything for her. The way she mothers is so kind and compassionate; she is an excellent listener and will always guide with grace. I cannot wait to see Julie become a mother to another child. I can already envision her reading bedtime stories, sharing her faith in Jesus and singing silly songs to a little one. She is very creative and loves to craft with our daughter. She especially loves to make wreaths and garlands for all the holidays.

Chris and I own our own business and loves that he can make his own schedule to spend time together as a family. He is also a wiz with cars and loves to rebuild them in his shop on our property. He is an amazing dad and I cant wait to see him dancing and singing with another child.

We are passionate about taking time to have fun and explore the world. We plan to give our children the world while also teaching them to be humble and grateful. We believe in giving grace when it is needed. We believe in honesty and teach how important a persons true character is. We value a great education. We send our daughter to an excellent private christian school who believes in doing your best and also the teach children to be leaders with a servants heart.
We live in a beautiful small town hidden between some larger towns. We have access to both the rural life and the city life. We live on almost two acres with a pool and a workshop for Chris to work on cars in his free time. We have a nursery ready to go and our home is eagerly awaiting all the sounds of baby giggles and pure joy.
We have a beautiful nursery ready to for either a boy or girl (or both). It is neutral for now but I am excited to personalize it when we adopt. We have everything we need to bring a baby home at any moment.
We love animals so so much! We have four dogs who are the absolute sweetest pups in the world. They are all calm, gentle, and an absolute joy. They are all up to date on all of their vaccinations. Also, only one lightly sheds. The rest don’t shed at all. They get bathed and groomed regularly. They are truly members of our family.
We both have big families who all live very close. We are extremely close with all of them and love doing life with them. They are family but they are also friends.
We love to be outdoors but also love an easy night at home playing games and watching tv. Time together is and always will be the most important thing to us. Creating memories that will last a lifetime.
