Hi we are Richard and Cynthia - we have been married 7 years as of this month and just visited the place we got married this past week in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We met over sushi in 2012. We currently live in Mendham Township, NJ and moved here a little over two years ago. We live 3 doors down from where Richard grew up and his family still resides there. We have one biological son who is 4, Hudson, and have two wonderful puppies Guinness (14) and Marshall (1).
I think Cynthia is the most compassionate person I have ever. met. She genuinely cares for her loved ones' well being and is all available to help everyone. She's caring and a sweet woman. She is such a beautiful mother to Hudson. He's always taken care of, loved and safe. She teachers him, laughs with him and grows with him.
Rich is the funniest person, he makes the whole room laugh and have fun. He is a happy guy that always looks on the bright side of things. Hudson and Rich share a special bond. They spend so much time exploring and playing together. Rich is a great dad and is so excited to become a parent again.
We have a positive parenting approach. We teach our son how to be kind to others, respectful and inclusive. We talk things out as a family, and find solutions together. As parents we support each others decisions and make decisions as a team. We share parenting roles and are both active in our sons life. We are engaged in our son’s life through activities, sports, family time and exploration.
Our home is cozy and warm, we welcome guests with open arms. Rich has grown up in the community that we currently reside in and has actively been involved in the community for years both as an EMT and fireman. We live in a great neighborhood and love that we are have a very diverse group of friends.
Cynthia recently became involved in the Stigma Free committee for the Township and is currently serving as class parent for Hudson’s pre-k class in the elementary school. As a family we love visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina and try to visit as often as we can.
We are an active family that always puts family first. Our close knit family lives close to each other and spends lots of time sharing activities. As a family, we enjoy exploring our environment, and tend to spend much of our time outdoors either traveling or enjoying our backyard. We were both raised with a Christian background, but do not currently attend any particular church. Together we enjoy camping, kayaking, gardening, blacksmithing, and exploring.
