We understand the importance of maintaining a connection with one’s roots and heritage. We are an interracial family. Nawshin is South-Asian in ethnicity and Daniel is Caucasian. We are committed to ensuring that your child grows up with a strong sense of their cultural identity. We will celebrate and embrace their heritage, incorporating traditions and customs into our lives, and fostering a sense of pride in their unique background. We have hosted two foreign exchange students from Denmark and Germany and continue to have a loving relationship with them and treat them as our own. They have both returned for visits and we love to continue some of the traditions they have shared with us between visits, like making aebleskiver (Danish pancakes) or German potato salad.
