It began in a surprising way – a blind date set up by Tara's sister and Nick's dad. They saw the spark between us... Here we are 12 years later, stronger than ever. We are very lucky. Our path hasn't always been easy. We faced infertility and loss over the past 5 years, but our love has only grown stronger. Now, we're ready to welcome a little one into our lives through adoption.
She is a communications manager by day, but can also bake up a storm! She creates artsy masterpieces and loves to laugh at silly things. She’s my favorite person in the whole world and has a heart of gold. Tara's ready to share her creativity, love, and unwavering support with a child. She is a joy-bringer, always finding ways to make us smile. Her passion for life is contagious, and her optimism is like a ray of sunshine on even on tough days.
Nick is a Public Safety Dispatcher (answers and responds to 911 calls). He loves this job because he helps people in need. Nick is a loving, kind man who always helps his loved ones. He protects his family and makes people feel safe. Nick's gentle heart is as big as the sky. His caring nature and loyalty make him an incredible partner and will make him a great Dad! Nick's love for adventure and sports will encourage a child to explore the world with excitement. He will protect and love a child with all his might.

Our home is where LOVE thrives. Our cozy apartment near parks and a river is the perfect place to build memories. Our community is vibrant, and our neighbors are like extended family. The schools are rated as some of the best in the area. Plus there are lots of parks, activities and places for kids to grow and have fun!
