- Idaho -
Thank you for taking the time to look at our family! We live in Idaho where there are lakes, rivers, trails, and much more! We met at a Bible college in Michigan, dated for 2 1/2 years, and got married in 2010. We then moved to Idaho in 2011 where Casey took a youth pastor position at a local church. We have been here ever since! We adopted our son, Landon, in 2015, and are looking forward to growing our family again through adoption.
What Karen wants you to know about Casey: He is loving. He is an amazing dad! He assumes the best in everyone. He invests in others. He is an awesome youth pastor. He is goofy and fun. He is a musician and very active. He loves Jesus with his whole heart
What Casey wants you to know about Karen: She is an amazing wife. Family is top priority. She loves to laugh. She is a great mom. She is a hard worker and a strong mentor. She loves Jesus with everything she has!
Dear Birth Mom,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider our family for the placement of your child. We know that this is an incredibly difficult process for you, and we want to offer our encouragement as you pursue the best option for your child. Choosing an adoptive family for your child is a truly selfless and sacrifical decision that puts the best interest of the child ahead of your own desires.
As you move through this process, we want you to know we are praying for our future child and the mother of our future child. We have been praying for protection and wisdom, and as you consider our family, we believe those prayers extend to you, whether you choose our family or not.
Our first adoption process brought us our son Landon, who has been an amazing joy. It was clear to us that God was active in every step we took toward growing our family. Our home is filled with love and joy and we truly believe that God has brought us here to adopt another baby to grow our family. Adoption holds such a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait to open our arms and hearts to our next child. Landon is so excited to be a big brother, and we love that he and our next child will get to share the bond of adoption.
Thank you for considering our family. Please know we have the greatest appreciation and respect for you. We look forward to what the future may bring.
With love,
Casey and Karen Duke
We have known for a long time now that our family has more love to give. Our primary vision for our adopted baby is to provide a safe, secure, loving, and nurturing environment for the child to grow. We have seen God work in our lives in many ways, and we look forward to being able to share with this child how God brought them into our lives to love and care for. As we raise our children, we strive to embody godly values like generosity, service, compassion, and truth. We desire to clearly teach the difference between right and wrong, establishing a pattern of integrity, biblical standards, and a pursuit of God’s truth. As our child grows, we pray they will come to an understanding of the person of Jesus Christ, what He did for us, and what He has to offer both now and in eternity.
We bought our current home in 2018, and it is truly our happy place. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and both a living room and play room, it is perfect for raising a family. With the addition of a basketball court in the back yard and a park right around the corner, it fits perfectly with our active lifestyle. If the sun is out, there isn’t a day where we don’t spend time outside.
We have two dogs named Tigger and Barley. Tigger is a 12 year old golden retriever, and Barley is a 5 month old petite golden doodle. They are both such sweet dogs and love it when everyone is home.
We are happiest when we are together
