Tammie & Stephen

- New York -

Introduction

We are Tammie and Stephen. We met 21 years ago while both working at a local food store. We started out as very good friends and our friendship grew into a romance. We love and respect each other very much. We have been married for 13 years. Stephen and I share many of the same interests. Since the beginning of our relationship, we have always talked about having a large family. We believe in the same morals and values as to raising a family.

My wife, Tammie, is beautiful in every sense of the word. She is an assistance district director for a supermarket. Tammie is one of the most hard-working people I know. Putting others needs above her own is what I admire most about her. She is an incredible woman. Tammie loves spending time outdoors. She is apart of a fast pitch softball league. She also loves horseback riding, or playing golf with me. She is happiest when she is out and about. Tammie is an exceptional person and I love spending time with her. She is loving, caring and unique, she is the love of my life. Spending time with Tiffany is what she loves to do most. She plays dress up and comes up with the most amazing Halloween costumes. She loves taking her to the zoo or aquarium. She is an amazing mother and is looking forward to having more children.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We hope that in reading this letter and looking at the special times that we have shared, that you have some sense of who we are, and what a wonderful relationship we have. We know that if we are fortunate to adopt, we will love this baby unconditionally. It is our intention to express to you that our marriage is based on trust, love, support, encouragement and honesty. Our family has grown with these same values.
We are excited about this new phase in our journey together and look forward to bringing another child into our love and our life. We have a wonderful extended family who will give so much love to this child as grandparents, aunts, uncles and big cousins!
We are honored to be considered as adoptive parents and would love the opportunity to meet with you.

Our Parenting Style

Tiffany is our spunky 6-year-old! Her heart is so big and full of love. She is smart and kind. She gets so excited when she has to dress up for her dance recitals and swim meets. Tiffany cannot wait to be a big sister! We love taking her to Disney and other family vacations. We believe in both education and family values. It is very important to us to balance both. We learned so much about adoption over the last few years and truly appreciate the journey and the way Tiffany was given to us.

Our Story

Our Home

We live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and tree lined streets. We have a park right down the street and kids all around us. Our school district is one of the best and our town has wonderful libraries and music classes. It is a great place to raise children. We are so happy we put our roots down here.

Our Pets

We have two cats, Clyde and Anastasia. They are the sweetest cats. Tiffany calls them her kitty brother and sister. They are so friendly and love to cuddle.

Our Family

Tammie’s parents were happily married for 20 years. Unfortunately, her father, Kenneth, passed away when she was two years old. Everyone says what an amazing man he was. Tammie’s mother, Florence, was a meat wrapper for 51 years. She is an extraordinary woman and the best grandmother.
Tammie’s brother, Kenneth, is a NY market supervisor for a cooperate moving company. He was married to Debra who was one of our best friends. Sadly, she passed away 12 years ago. Together, they raised their son, Kenneth, who is 26 years old. We love spending holidays with them and look forward to more family barbecues.
Tammie’s brother, Brian, is an assistant store manager. He and his wife, Hollie, are amazing aunts and uncles. They have an 14-year-old son, Brian, who is excited to have another little cousin. They were thrilled when we decided to have more children and are going to spoil this baby with so much love.
Stephen’s parents, Richard and Joan, were happily married for 50 years. They believed that love, marriage and family are truly life’s greatest gifts. Stephen’s mother worked in a school cafeteria. She was good-natured and a caring woman and is missed every day. Stephen’s dad is a bank manager. He gives everything to his family and is an incredible grandfather.
Stephen’s sister, Patty, is a school teacher. Her husband, Christopher, is retired from law enforcement. They have two beautiful children, Shane, 30 and Danielle, 20. They cannot wait for another baby cousin!
Stephen’s brother, Robert, is a produce manager. He is a fun, loving uncle and looks forward to having a new niece or nephew to care for and love.
