Hello! We are Matthew and Allison. We have been married for 8 years and have one precious child, Gabriel, whom we adopted in 2021. He is now 3 years old, and we are ready and excited to grow our family again! We are not able to have children on our own, but God has called us to adopt. Our hearts are open and ready to love the children He places in our life. We live in a beautiful home with a large backyard in a loving community, and we can’t wait to share it all with another child!
I grew up in West Virginia, but I've lived in Tennessee for the last 13 years. I work for a non-profit organization that serves widows and orphans around the world. I’m also the Worship Minister for my church and have been a musician and songwriter for most of my life. Here are a few other things to know about me: I love to sing and write songs. I have one brother who lives in South Carolina with his wife and son. My whole family lives in West Virginia, including my parents, who have been together since the third grade!
I was born and raised in Tennessee. Most of my family still lives here. Spending time with friends, family, neighbors, and my church family is very important to me. I also love to meet new people! I love being a stay-at-home mommy to Gabriel and I can’t wait to have another child to love and care for every day. Here are a few other things to know about me: I love old movies, Motown music, and puzzles. My favorite season is Winter because I absolutely LOVE snow! I write silly songs to sing with Gabriel and I enjoy finding fun activities we can do together.
Hello! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We don’t know how you’re feeling or what you’re going through, but we are so thankful that your love for this child has led you to choose adoption. This could not have been an easy decision to make, and we admire your bravery. When we pray for our future child and our son Gabriel’s future sibling, we also pray for you. We pray that you will have peace throughout the adoption process, that we will develop a special relationship with you, and that the future will be filled with wonderful memories and blessings for all of us! We want you to know that if you choose us to raise your child, we are ready and excited to pour out every bit of love in our hearts as parents.
We are a God-centered, love-focused family. We shower each other with praise and compliments and strive to never speak harshly to one another. We discipline our son thoughtfully and never out of anger or frustration—always seeking to lovingly correct bad behavior rather than scold or demean. Our pastor recently told us after seeing our son Gabriel, “that little boy knows he’s loved; you can see it in his eyes.” That’s how we want this child to feel as well.
We live in a beautiful home on a little over an acre of land in Tennessee. We have a big back yard with lots of trees and a swing set. We have 3 bedrooms and a large play room. We love to decorate for Christmas, visit our many wonderful neighbors, and invite friends over to play.
We can’t forget little Wendy! She is our 6-year-old snuggle buddy. She’s sweet and gentle and loves to run with Gabriel around our big back yard. She loves babies, so we know she’ll be happy to have another baby in the house!
