Adoption has been something we have been thinking about for a long time and we are so happy to finally be pursuing it. We would be honored to be chosen by you and will navigate this journey together. For us, we parent together and work as a team. Our jobs are flexible enough that one of us is able to be at home with our biological child. We would be able to continue this until the children are in high school or beyond. We both enjoy taking our daughter to activities and helping with home work. We believe that it is important to support and help our child succeed. We want our children to strive for what they want to be when they grow up and make their dreams come true. Our biological daughter loves taekwondo and cooking currently. She is enrolled in taekwondo classes and we love how much more confident she has become. For summer we plan to take her to a cooking summer camp where she can learn more. We would love to provide that same support and love to our future child.
Our home is located in a beautiful neighborhood near a
small downtown area that has lots of family friendly activities.
We enjoy going to the playground, going for a walk, and
socializing in the parks around our home. During the summer
months we love to order pizza and have dinner at the pool. The best
part about our home is our neighbors who have become our close
friends over the years. Everyone is willing to help each other and we have amazing memories of the kids playing with each other. Our neighborhood also hosts lots of social events for children and families. We recently renovated our home and our home offers lots of room for our family to grow.
Our nursery is gender neutral themed currently. We are open to having a boy or girl. We decided to make it teddy bear/winnie the pooh themed. It has lots of room for baby to grow and tons of space for them to have their future toys!
Our dog Luna is the first one to greet you when you walk through the door. She is very social and loves children, but she also enjoys calm evenings and snuggling up on the couch. Her favorite things to do are playing fetch, taking naps, and getting scraps from the table.
We have a beautiful, big, and diverse family. Both of our families live about 20 minutes from our home. This makes it very easy to visit each other on weekends and for the grandparents to babysit if needed. Jonathan has two sisters who are amazing aunts to our daughter. Our daughter also has a few cousins that she gets to have regular play dates with. We have many
family traditions that we cannot wait to share with a new little one. Both of our families have been very supportive with our choice to adopt. Our family loves to do anything together such as taking trips together, having family parties, and spending the holidays together. We feel very blessed to have such a big support system who are so excited to be a part of our growing family.
Our Little One
Our sweet girl was born in Spring of 2019 with a joyful and caring nature.
She is a social butterfly and loves to talk to anyone she meets. She loves
her elementary school and is one of the most outgoing girls in her class.
Her hobbies include ballet, reading, and playing with her friends on the
playground. She always makes sure she does not leave anyone out of any
game or activity. She is aspiring to be a future kindergarten teacher when
she grows up. She also enjoys playing with her dog Luna and learning how
to bake with her mother. We know that she has so much love to
share and will be a great big sister as our family grows!
