Hello! We're The Capstaff's, a loving family of three excited to grow through adoption once more. We've been married 10 years and are proud parents to our amazing daughter, Ally, who joined our family through adoption. Ally has special needs and brought so much joy and purpose to our lives. In addition to parenting Ally, we've also had the had the honor of being foster parents. Parenting has been the greatest gift of our lives, and we are ready to welcome another child into our hearts and home.

We are Christopher and Jessica, and becoming adoptive parents for the second time is our greatest hope. We have previously adopted our daughter, Ally, through foster care and she is looking forward to becoming a big sister. Our home is filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. If chosen, we promise to provide a safe, supportive, and joyful life for your child.
We are open to an adoption that includes ongoing contact, if that is something you want. We believe it is important for a child to know where they came from and to feel proud of their roots. Whatever path you choose, we wish you peace and clarity in your decision.

We believe in gentle parenting, which means approaching parenthood with empathy, respect, and patience. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where a child feels heard, valued, and deeply loved. We focus on connection, guiding with understanding, and helping a child grow with confidence and emotional security. We know that every child is unique, and we’re committed to meeting them where they are with love, consistency, and support.
Our home is a place of love, laughter, and belonging. We live in a cozy, diverse, and family-friendly neighborhood in central North Carolina. Our 3 bedroom house has lots of outdoor space, which is perfect for playtime and family gatherings. Our home is filled with books, music, off-key singing, and memories in the making.
We have 2 pets. 1 cat named Blue and 1 dog named Maddie. Although Maddie is a German Shepard mix who is much bigger than Blue, Blue is the boss of the house. She manages to contain a lot of sass in her little body. Both Blue and Maddie are gentle, patient, and great with children.
We’re incredibly close with our extended families, who are all excited and supportive of our adoption journey. Holidays, birthdays, and even ordinary weekends are often filled with game nights, home-cooked meals, and time spent together. Both Christopher and Jessica come from large families. Most of the family is within a 30 minute drive. In fact, Jessica’s dad and mom (Grandpappy and Grammy) are right next door! Our family is rooted in love and we are so ready to share that love with a child.
