Hello! I’m Leslie, a warm-hearted, nature-loving, and community-minded woman who cannot wait to share my joyful, fulfilling life with a child. By day, I work from home in client services for a successful software company, which offers me both flexibility and stability. But my true passions lie outside the home office—digging in the garden among my flowers and plants, breathing in the air at the beach near our house, or packing up for camping adventures with my husband and our two sweet beagles at our country property. I live with a playful spirit and a deep sense of wonder—whether I’m trying new recipes (Italian is my specialty, honoring my heritage!), volunteering at the dog shelter, or organizing neighborhood cleanups at local parks and beaches. My background in early childhood education and years spent as a daycare teacher and nanny have given me both the skills and the enthusiasm to nurture a child’s curiosity, creativity, and love for learning. Above all, I believe life should be full of magic—star-gazing on camping trips, impromptu dance parties in the kitchen, or teaching a little one how to grow their first sunflower. With a strong support system, a cozy home, and hearts ready to love, we’re so excited to welcome a child into our adventures, our traditions, and our everyday moments of joy.
Hey there, I’m Chris. For the past 10 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call myself a barber – not just because I love the craft, but because I get to connect with people every day. When I’m not in the shop, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book, watching a great movie, or planning the next adventure with Leslie and our two goofy beagles. I’m pretty much up for anything as long as my favorite people (and pups) can come along. One of my greatest joys is taking our classic 1960s Cadillac out for summer drives, especially when we cruise up to the local drive-in theater. There’s something magical about watching a movie under the stars in that old beauty – and I can’t wait to share that experience with a little one, complete with popcorn and the backseat all to themselves. Baseball’s been my passion since I was a kid – nothing beats the energy of a Guardians game, and I can’t wait to share that excitement with a child. Some of my best memories are summer nights at the ballpark with Leslie, and I know it’ll be even more magical seeing it through a kid’s eyes. I believe life’s about the simple joys: live music that makes you move, road trips with the windows down, and quiet moments at home with the people (and dogs) you love most. I’m looking forward to all the firsts – from teaching a kid how to throw a perfect curveball to introducing them to my favorite books.

We believe childhood should be joyful, messy, and full of exploration! Our parenting is rooted in empathy, strong connections, and clear boundaries, but we also prioritize letting kids be kids. Whether that means digging in the mud, building pillow forts, or turning the backyard into an imaginary kingdom, we embrace the chaos of play because we know it’s how children learn, grow, and experience wonder.
At the same time, we provide structure and gentle guidance to help them feel secure. You can count on us to show up—every day, in every phase—with the same patience, presence, and love. We set limits with kindness, redirect when needed, and focus on teaching rather than punishing. Mistakes are part of learning, and we encourage problem-solving together.
Above all, we want our children to feel deeply loved, free to explore, and confident in their boundaries. Our home is a place where they can get dirt under their nails, laugh loudly, and know they’re unconditionally supported—while also understanding that respect, safety, and kindness are non-negotiable. Our home is a vibrant suburban retreat designed with kids—and love—in mind! Nestled in a friendly neighborhood with tree-lined sidewalks and parks nearby, our house features a large, fully fenced backyard perfect for running, playing tag, or lying in the grass watching clouds drift by. The yard is full of life, with birds, butterflies, and the occasional visiting rabbit, giving little ones daily chances to connect with nature.
Inside, your child will have their own cozy bedroom (just waiting for their personal touch!), a dedicated playroom for creative adventures, and a private bathroom. We’ve set up our home to encourage both energetic play and quiet moments—whether that’s building pillow forts in the living room, drawing at the kitchen table (where we often make messy art together), or reading in a sunny nook.
Weekends here mean pancake breakfasts, backyard picnics, and neighbors dropping by with popsicles—because community matters to us too. With room to roam safely indoors and out, our home is where childhood unfolds naturally, full of laughter and discovery. Most importantly, we’ve left space for their favorite colors, toys, and traditions—because this will be their home in every way.
We can’t wait to fill these walls with even more love and joy as we grow our family!
And when we’re not at home, we love escaping to our peaceful patch of land in the countryside—a special place where we camp under the stars, roast marshmallows, and spend slow summer days exploring nature together. It’s the perfect spot to unplug, breathe deep, and make memories surrounded by wide-open spaces
While we haven’t fully decorated yet—because we want to personalize the room to fit your child—we’ve set up a cheerful, sunlit nursery with all the essentials: a cozy rocking chair for lullabies, soft rugs for playtime, and blackout curtains for peaceful naps. The large window floods the space with warm light, and its location right across from our bedroom means we’re always just steps away for nighttime snuggles or early morning giggles.
We’ve left plenty of open space to grow into—whether that means creating a reading nook with their favorite books, a dress-up corner, or walls for their own artwork. This room is a blank canvas, ready to become their magical space. Most importantly, we’ll work with you (if you’d like) to include comforting touches that help them feel at home from day one
Our home is made even brighter by our two beloved beagle mixes, Vito and Lady, who are wonderful with children and add so much joy to our daily lives.
Vito, our wise and mellow senior, is a gentle soul who loves lounging in sunny spots and keeping a calm, watchful eye over the household. His easygoing nature makes him a perfect snuggle buddy for quiet moments.
Lady, our playful younger pup, is full of energy and affection. She adores games of fetch, wagging her tail at every new adventure, and has a sweet, patient demeanor around little ones.
Both dogs are well-socialized, obedient, and incredibly gentle with kids—they’ve been around children their entire lives and respond with patience and warmth. They’re regulars at the groomer (so they’re always fresh and clean!) and enjoy daily walks around our tree-lined neighborhood or exploring the many parks nearby. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a romp in the backyard, Vito and Lady are happy companions who’ll help teach your child about kindness, responsibility, and the fun of having furry best friends.

Family is the foundation of our lives, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have a close-knit, vibrant network of relatives who are already eagerly awaiting the opportunity to welcome your child with open arms. We both come from families with strong sibling bonds and actively involved parents, creating a rich tapestry of love and connection that we cherish deeply. Whether it’s weekly family dinners, holiday traditions filled with laughter, or impromptu weekend gatherings, our lives are woven together with warmth and togetherness.
Some of our greatest joys come from being an aunt and uncle to our many nieces and nephews. We’ve spent countless hours babysitting, building blanket forts, cheering at soccer games, and creating magical childhood memories with them. These experiences have only deepened our excitement to pour that same unconditional love and playful energy into raising your child. Beyond our biological family, we’re surrounded by an incredible support system of lifelong friends, mentors, and spiritual community members who have committed to walking alongside us – emotionally, financially, and spiritually – throughout our parenting journey.
