We’re a Southern California family, just minutes away from the beach, offering a peaceful and vibrant environment for a child. We have an amazing 12-year-old son who is sweet, fun loving, and has the biggest heart. It is important to us to just be ourselves, and for us that means always having fun and always making each other giggle. We believe it takes a village to raise a child, and whenever you feel the time is right, we’re ready and excited to welcome you and your little one with open arms!

Even though I am Raymond Jr., I have gone by Chuck my whole life. I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta and attended college before joining the Navy. I am an avid sports fan, especially baseball. I enjoy watching sports with my family, attending local sporting events, and fostering a sense of commitment to the game in my son. In addition, I am an avid reader and can easily read a book or two a week. I am so excited to foster a new sports fan in our family.

I grew up in a small town in Illinois until I joined the Navy, which is where Chuck and I met. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, swimming, attending theme parks, and trying new restaurants. I have a passion for helping others, which led me to become a lawyer and assist veterans with obtaining their benefits after they have been wrongfully denied. I enjoy expressing my creativity through hair and makeup styles and by doing art projects with our family.
We can only imagine how difficult this decision is for you. Whatever you decide, we are grateful that you are considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. Being parents is the most important thing in the world to us, and it has brought us so much joy. We want you to know how seriously we take this, and that we will love your child, keep them safe from harm, and give them every opportunity in life that we possibly can. Your selfless choice will ensure a lifetime of love and support for your child from all of us.
As parents, we value creating a home environment where our children feel comfortable being their true selves. It is important to us that our children feel that they do not have to hide their identity from us and that we foster a safe home where they continue to want to come back well into adulthood. Of course, to create this type of environment is a balancing act. We instill the importance of self-appreciation, self-discipline, and resilience, while also creating an understanding that we are always there to support them, providing words of encouragement and a judgment-free zone. Hard work is always rewarded, and losing is taught with grace. Creativity is encouraged, and uniqueness is celebrated. But paramount to it all is that our children know they are loved.
We live in a Southern California community that is 10 minutes from the beach! Our neighborhood has many great parks nearby, and the elementary school is less than a block from our house. In our neighborhood, we have a mixture of young families and older couples whose children are grown, but everyone looks out for each other regardless. Every year our neighborhood gets together and has a big 4th of July celebration and it is such a delight getting to see everyone together. Otherwise, year-round round our neighborhood is filled with children playing and riding bikes, especially with the parks so close.
Our community has everything we need right here! All the stores we need are within a 10-minute drive, and we have lots of local restaurants close by as well. Chuck’s work is a 10-minute drive from the house as well, which means more time at home with the family. Paige works remotely. Our local community has a grow up here mentality, and many people stay here or move back because it just feels like home.
We have two adorable pups who love to play and snuggle. Our fur babies are a big part of our life and we are so fortunate that our son has been able to grow up around these lovable giants. Groot, our 8 year old bulldog, loves treats, snuggles, and enjoying the perfect weather. Meanwhile, Mimosa, our 3 year old goldendoodle loves to be outdoors, giving love, and playing fetch.
