We are an active and fun-loving couple who enjoy travelling, doing projects around our house, and spending time with our family and friends. Almost 4 years ago we adopted our son, Ryan, and we love being able to expose him to as many new experiences as possible. We want nothing more than to add to our family and for Ryan to have a sibling to grow up with and another baby to shower with our love.

Angie is kind, compassionate, and artistic. She has always put others before herself and therefore loves her career in healthcare where she can make patients feel comfortable and understood. Angie’s favorite hobbies are cooking new recipes, creating art projects, and travelling. Being a Mom is Angie's favorite thing to do; she has always loved being around children and is never happier than when she is spending time with Ryan.

Adam is outgoing, passionate, and funny! He is the j“uncle” gym for all of his nieces and nephews and enjoys hobbies such as working out at the Ninja gym, bowling, golfing and woodworking. Adam loves anything to do with technology and obtained his bachelor’s degree in information systems after being in the Army for 4 years. His favorite part of working in IT is troubleshooting and problem solving. He loves sharing his hobbies with Ryan such as camping, fishing, bowling, and completing the obstacles at the ninja gym.
Dear expectant mother,
We cannot begin to thank you enough for the opportunity you are providing for a family that is wishing and hoping for a baby to love forever. If we could ask one favor from you it would be to please consider getting to know our family before making your final decision on who you choose to place your baby with. We have always wanted to have multiple children, and it was very difficult for us to learn that we are unable to have them biologically. We adopted our son, Ryan, almost 4 years ago after waiting 21 months, and want nothing more than to add another child to our family and for a sibling for Ryan to grow up with. We have been hoping again to adopt and have been waiting for almost 2 years with very little luck in matching with birth mothers. We feel like if you just got to know us you would see all that we could offer to your baby and the support we wish to provide to you as well.
We understand, especially having adopted Ryan, that this journey is such an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved. Although we cannot begin to imagine what you must be feeling considering adoption for your baby, we do know that you only want the best for them. For the past 4 years we have done nothing but try to give Ryan everything he could want, everything we did not have as children ourselves, and everything that his birth mother wished for him to have. We look forward to offering the same love, opportunities and experiences to this child also.
If you should choose us, we would be excited to watching this child learn and grow while spending time with their big brother, friends, and family celebrating holidays and family traditions, visiting parks and zoos, playing games, reading books, and living life to the fullest. We also look forward to Ryan growing up with a sibling who can share the bond of having been adopted into our family. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to get to know us through our profile, and we really hope we get the chance to get to know you as well!
Sincerely,
Angie, Adam, and Ryan
As parents we believe in letting our child/children experience life to the fullest. We love being able to share experiences with our son and take him places such as playgrounds, the zoo or aquarium, festivals, Hershey Park, the local swimming pool, and on annual vacations. We try our best not to be “helicopter parents” and allow Ryan to have independence in everything he does as we believe it builds confidence and allows him to discover his own strengths.
We find that love, comfort, and positive reinforcement are the best ways to teach children right from wrong. In cases where discipline is necessary, we use time outs which we find very effective.

We built our home 6 years ago in a wonderful neighborhood where there are always families outside, children riding bikes down the sidewalks, and community events. Our house is within walking distance of our local library, 2 playgrounds, sports fields, and the elementary school that our children will attend. Any store or restaurant you could possibly want to go to can be driven to in less than 30 minutes. Our small town is between several major Northeastern cities including Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York City, and Washington D.C. so there are always options of fun things to do on the weekends.
Our house has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a finished basement where we have a living space, playroom, office, and workout area. We built a large deck onto the back of our house this summer and already love spending time on it having dinner, using the fire table, or enjoying the sunshine. We love to decorate our home with art, decorations and houseplants, and Angie always has the house ready for the seasons and holidays.
We are very close with our neighbors and spend many weekends and evenings with them while the kids play together. They enjoy driving their “jeeps”, getting out the bounce house or water slides, jumping on the next-door neighbor’s trampoline, playing baseball, or celebrating birthdays together at each other’s houses. We are so grateful to have a beautiful home and friendly neighbors to share our time with.

We have a bedroom in our home that is all set to become another nursery! Because we are ready to welcome a baby of either gender, we have not prepared the room quite yet. When we decorated our son’s nursery, we used the theme of giraffes with moons and stars, and we loved creating the space that he would grow in. Spending quiet nights rocking a baby to sleep in a peaceful, comfortable nursery is a memory that we look forward to making again.

In our family we have 3 very friendly, indoor, de-clawed kitties.
Smoky is our largest cat and is a long-haired gray goofball. Since we brought Ryan home, Smoky has found and enjoyed anything and everything of his to lay on. As Ryan has grown up, they have become the best of friends and love to play or snuggle together. Smoky loves to sneak outside to slink around in the grass and “hide” until we can catch him and bring him back inside.
Bailey is the most laid-back cat we have ever met. He roams around the house playing with the other kitties or with his favorite toy mouse. Every once in a while he cries a long, loud meow and won’t stop until we call his name and pet him.
Charlie is our last kitty. We brought her home as a very tiny kitten when her mom abandoned her in a coworker’s yard. Smoky took to raising her and they have remained best friends. Charlie loves to snuggle right against Angie every night in bed and loves tummy rubs.

We are very close with and spend a lot of time with our extended family! Angie’s Mom lives close by, and her two older sisters and brothers-in-law, who each have a daughter and a son, live within an hour of us. We spend holidays together, go on an annual family vacation, and all attend events such as festivals and family reunions. All the cousins love to play together and get very excited to see one another.
Adam’s Mom and younger brother both live 1.5 hours away. Adam’s brother just welcomed his first child, who is Ryan’s first younger cousin. Since he was born, Ryan cannot stop talking about him and how he wants to be a big brother. We visit Adam’s family whenever we have the opportunity, and they come spend weekends at our house. We get together for holidays or to visit places like the aquarium, zoo, or local market.
Ryan loves seeing his family and frequently talks about them. Angie’s Mom, Grammie, loves to spend as much time with all her grandkids as possible, and she watches Ryan one day a week just to spend extra time with him. When we shared our intention to adopt a second baby, all our family members could not have been happier to add to our family! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful support system and definitely do not take our close family for granted.

The journey that led us to adoption had been trying at times, but we truly believe this is the path we belong on. After getting married, we tried for years to conceive a baby but have never been blessed with a pregnancy. While this was difficult to accept at first, we researched our options for starting a family and found that adoption is what was meant for us all along. We adopted our beautiful baby boy, Ryan, about 4 years ago, and are so grateful to have him in our lives! We both knew from a young age that we wanted to be parents, but the love we have for Ryan far outweighs anything we could have ever imagined! We want to add to our family and adopt a sibling for Ryan to be able to grow up with, and who we can share our overwhelming love with again.
