Hi — we’re Samantha and Jordan. We’re not here pretending to have the perfect story or the perfect house. We’re just two steady people with a whole lot of love and a very clear sense of what matters: creating a safe, stable, and supportive life for a child. We believe adoption should always be child-centered. Every decision we make along the way comes back to one simple question: What is best for the child, long term? Not what’s easiest. Not what’s fastest. Not what makes us feel better.

A few things about me: Halloween is my favorite holiday, fall is my favorite season, The Little Mermaid will always be my comfort movie, pink is my favorite color, and pasta is my go-to comfort food. I want a child to grow up feeling secure, heard, and never alone in their story. If I’m chosen to be part of their life, I will honor that responsibility with patience, respect, and unconditional love.

I care deeply about creating a safe, steady, and supportive life for a child. I believe being a parent means showing up, being consistent, and making sure a child always feels protected, heard, and valued. A few things about me: winter is my favorite season, Halloween is my favorite holiday, blue is my favorite color, salmon is my favorite food, and my favorite movie is North by Northwest. I love playing video games, taking our dogs for walks, and being active outside.
First, hi.
And also… take a deep breath. I know this moment is probably a swirl of a thousand thoughts, emotions, and maybe a few “how did I get here?” moments. I just want you to know — you’re not alone, and there’s no version of this that’s simple or easy.
So here’s us, writing to you from the other side of the screen, doing our best not to sound like a sappy adoption commercial… even though I definitely cried writing this.
We don’t believe adoption is about rescuing or fixing anything — because you’re not a problem to solve and this baby isn’t a prize to win. We believe adoption should always be child-centered, honest, and rooted in love, respect, and a whole lot of humility.
Our hearts are set on giving a child a life filled with stability, laughter, safe arms, and shoes that mysteriously disappear in the laundry no matter how many times you count them. We want to raise a child who feels secure, celebrated, and deeply loved — and who always knows their story matters.
We also promise we won’t pretend this is easy or pain-free, because it isn’t. But what we can promise is that we would honor your role, your strength, and your place in this child’s life story forever. Not just in a “say it once and never mention it again” way, but in a real, living, breathing way.
We don’t expect anything from you.
No pressure. No perfect answers. No timeline.
Just an open heart, open hands, and maybe a bad joke or two if the moment ever calls for it.
Whatever you decide, we hope you give yourself endless grace — because you deserve that.
With so much respect (and probably some happy tears),
Samantha & Jordan
We believe parenting is less about being perfect and more about being present.
We’re not the “have-it-all-figured-out” type — we’re the “we’ll figure it out together” type.
We care a lot about raising a child who feels safe, secure, and seen. Big feelings are allowed in our house. Happy feelings, hard feelings, dramatic toddler feelings, and even the ones that make absolutely no sense. We’re not scared of emotion — we just bring snacks and hugs.
We believe in boundaries, routines, and consistency… but also in dance parties in the kitchen, movie nights under too many blankets, and laughing so hard you forget what you were upset about five minutes ago.
We want to raise a child who feels supported, not controlled.
Heard, not just corrected.
Loved even on their hardest days.
We’ll show up with patience, silliness, structure, and love — and probably some occasional bribery in the form of goldfish crackers and popsicles. No shame.
Most of all, we want our child to grow up knowing they are deeply valued, deeply safe, and deeply loved — exactly as they are.

Our home is the kind of place where shoes come off at the door, laughter is louder than the TV, and there’s almost always a dog toy somewhere it doesn’t belong. It’s cozy, a little chaotic in the normal-life way, and full of love. We care more about feeling safe and comfortable than looking perfect — which means you’ll probably find throw blankets on every couch, a candle burning, and a kitchen that’s equal parts dinner station and therapy office. It’s a place where hard days are met with hugs, soft light, and maybe a good cry, and good days are celebrated with dance parties, bad singing, and way too much dessert. We want a child to grow up here feeling completely at home — messy moments, big feelings, and all.
The nursery is simple, calm, and focused on comfort more than anything else. It’s right next to our bedroom so baby will never be far away in those early days. The walls are white with gray and ivory furniture, soft silver touches, and a little pink — just enough to make it feel warm and cozy. We already have the Hatch nightlight and sound machine set up, along with a humidifier, and a recliner glider ready for late-night feeds, rocking, and sleepy cuddles. It’s not a showroom nursery — it’s a real space meant for rest, safety, and all the little moments that happen at 2 a.m.

We have two older dogs, Cici and Lucy, who are calm, affectionate, and great with children. They’ve been around kids before and naturally have that gentle, slower energy. We’re very intentional about introducing a baby to them safely, with clear boundaries, supervision, and their comfort in mind too. Our goal is for our child to grow up around animals in a way that feels safe, steady, and positive.

Our family is small but steady. It’s just the two of us, plus a whole lot of love, structure, and intention behind everything we do. We care deeply about creating a home that feels safe, predictable, and secure — not just emotionally, but practically too. We want a child to grow up feeling grounded, supported, and never alone in their story. We’re big on routines, communication, and showing up even on the hard days.
We also know family isn’t just about who lives under one roof — it’s about the people who show up consistently. Our circle is close, supportive, and full of people who are excited to love and support a child’s life in real ways, not just in words. Our goal isn’t perfection — it’s stability, safety, patience, and a whole lot of heart.
