Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We hope as you look through our profile you feel the love we have for each other, our family, friends, and our future children. Adoption holds a special place in our hearts, and we do not enter into this space lightly. I, Tori, spent years in and out of the foster care system, and was eventually adopted. My experience has taught us that adoption is complex and should be approached with care.

Hi! I am Tori. My day to day work is vast and involves a lot of different aspects. I am an author, public speaker, and advocate for vulnerable children. I have been honored to advocate to Congress, and in 2021 I won the title of Mrs. Universe. In my free time, I like to workout, compete in races, and try new cooking recipes. For many of my speaking engagements and adventures, I even bring the kids along for the ride! They have gotten to see so much of the world at such a young age I, Jacob, love that Tori wants the best for our children,. Because she grew up with so little, Tori strives to be a nurturing mom who gives her kids many opportunities.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We promise you that your child will always know love—deep, unwavering, unconditional love. As we have prepared for this adoption, our hearts have expanded in ways we never imagined possible, and that love will carry them through every joy, every challenge, every stage of life.

We promise to give them endless opportunity and raise your child with gentleness and compassion. To listen closely to who they are, to nurture their dreams, and to always be their safe place. We will celebrate their unique story and help them grow with confidence, strength, and joy.

We promise to speak your name with love and respect. Your courage, selflessness, and deep love will never be hidden or forgotten. Your child will always know that your decision came from a place of profound love—a love that gave them life and a future.

We promise to honor you in our words, home and in our hearts. We love you for who you are and for the role you will always have in our family’s story. You are part of us now—woven into the very heart of our family.

We understand the weight and loss that comes with adoption, but we have also seen the beauty and richness that can simultaneously be found.

If we could tell you anything right now, it would be that you are seen, you are loved, and you are brave. You are not alone. We want you to know that we will be praying fervently over you and your upcoming decision.

We have long dreamed of adding to our family, and we can’t wait for Leyonder and Ezzeri to be a big brother and big sister. God has opened our hearts to loving a child through adoption unconditionally. If you should consider us as parents for your child, we promise to provide a home with lots of love, opportunity, and unconditional support.

May you find peace, confidence, and all the strength we know is inside. Thinking about you.

Our Story

Our Home

We live in a beautiful, town in Ohio, a place filled with charm, community, and history. It’s the kind of town where people know your name, where neighbors wave from their porches, and where children still ride their bikes down tree-lined streets.

Our home is one of our favorite places in the world. It’s a large, historic house with so much character—tall ceilings, creaky wood floors, big windows that let in lots of light, and cozy corners perfect for reading. There’s plenty of room to grow, play, and dream here.

One of the sweetest parts of our everyday life is how close we live to the library—just a short walk down the street! We go on walks often, and the library has become a special part of our weekly rhythm. It offers wonderful programs for kids, like art classes, reading groups, and story times.

Because of this, our children learn to love books and reading from a young age.We treasure reading together as a family—especially books that teach about character, virtue, and love. These quiet moments together, cuddled up with a book, are some of our favorites.

Our Family

We love going out to eat, trying new foods, and going out for ice cream just for fun! The second man in the picture below is my (Tori’s) adoptive dad, Scott. The kids call him “Grandpa Scott.”

We also travel often as a family, at least once a month. We love hiking, kayaking, and exploring nature any chance we can get!

We want our kids to see as much of the world as possible and appreciate it.

Custom Section

In this picture, Jacob and I gathered a group of young adults who had grown up in foster care, and we took a mission trip to Mexico. Together, we built a house for a family who did not have a home.

We believe that life is about serving and loving people, especially those who may have less than us.

We do this in our community by volunteering at local nonprofits and helping those in need with food and clothes. We feel it is very important to model this to our children, because we want them to learn to be kind and love everyone they encounter.

These beliefs stem from our faith in Christ who was the most loving man to ever live. We hope to live in a way that people see Jesus in our actions and words.
