Written by Gina: Daryl is unfailing in his devotion to his family. It is his number one priority to make sure we are taken care of. He is focused, driven, kind, & loving. He is my perfect partner. He helps me believe in myself and makes me feel there is nothing I can’t do. He will do the same for your child. Daryl is the chef of the family, we are blessed daily with his passion and ability to throw together healthy, delicious masterpieces, whether a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Although breakfasts are his specialty! He is gentle, fun and creative. He also is extremely handy. If he doesn’t know how to fix or build something he will figure it out. He even built his own successful business from scratch. He amazes me everyday! Daryl is the pillar of our family. Written by Daryl: Gina has the biggest heart of any person I have ever met. She is so kind, caring and generous with her time, heart and passion for all living things. She puts all other people and creatures before herself to make sure they have what they need and are taken care of. Her generosity and passion for the happiness of others is a true blessing from God that shines through everyday. Along with her love of life, she is a very fun person to be around. She loves a good adventure, maybe a hike at the local state park or just a camping adventure on our property. Every adventure is enjoyed to the fullest. She also loves board games, I mean who doesn’t, but she gets fired up over a good board game. Gina is the heart of our family, our caregiver, our consoler and our passion. She is going to raise very strong willed, smart children that have a deep respect for what God has given us. They will grow up knowing their mother is their biggest supporter and teacher of life.

Our Story

Our Home

We live on a 15.5 acre hobby farm outside of Nashville, Tennessee. We have country living but easy access to every possible thing we could want as we are a 30 minute drive from one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse cities in the state. We have very like minded neighbors who are also some of our best friends which makes our country living very safe, relaxing and fun. There is a large state park within 5 miles, major rivers for outdoor adventures within an hour and a fresh spring fed creek on our property along with hiking trails for daily adventures. The outdoors are an important aspect of our lives and we can not wait to share our adventures with your child. Our property has chickens, dogs, cats, deer, rabbits, possum, raccoons, so many different types of birds and a pretty good population of annually returning hummingbirds.

The closest town to us is a charming little community of about 2,000 people, with a Mexican restaurant and a family pizza place we love. Just 20 minutes away is a larger town with a great down town, where we shop, enjoy homemade ice cream from a family-run parlor, and look forward to visiting a new park and splash pad with your child. There is also so many wonderful town events! Our heart has went into our home and to get the gift of raising a child here would be every thing we could ever ask for. We picture our days being filled with a lot of outdoor learning and adventure. Cooking and baking using things we have grown ourselves, having family movie nights with popcorn & candy and game nights with lots of fun and laughs.

Our Pets

We have a big heart for animals in need. We take care of our neighborhood feral cat community, spay/neuter and find them homes. We have chickens that provide us with fresh eggs daily. We have 5 dogs. Sage, we rescued her from the humane society, Jorde showed up in our back yard and we decided to keep her after finding she didn’t have a home. Lucia was sleeping on our neighbors porch as a stray, we took her in and shortly after discovered she was pregnant! She had 2 babies. That is how we ended up with 5 dogs :)
