ADYOL & KAI

- Florida -

Introduction

We’re Adyol & Kai. Around here, a simple conversation can somehow travel from Marvel to space to God before dinner is over. We laugh a lot, ask ridiculous questions, debate almost everything, and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.Basically, life together is never boring. We’re also the kind of family that believes the little things become the big things, the traditions nobody wants to miss, the inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else, and the ordinary days you end up remembering forever

I’m Adyol—Mom, CFO, perpetual planner, frequent traveler, and firm believer that childhood should feel a little magical. I’m happiest when I’m with the people I love, whether we’re exploring somewhere new, celebrating something that probably didn’t require a celebration, or spending a perfectly ordinary night at home. I’m curious by nature and love learning, which may explain why I’m working on my doctorate and why conversations at our house can wander from business to space to faith without anyone thinking that’s unusual. I love beautiful spaces, Christmas, mountains, great food, movie nights, planning trips, and creating traditions that become the stories we tell years later. Becoming Kai’s mom has been the greatest part of my life. He has taught me that motherhood isn’t about creating a perfect childhood; it’s about being present for the real one. I want my children to grow up knowing they can ask questions, dream ridiculously big, change their minds, make mistakes, and always come home. I’m organized, affectionate, adventurous, occasionally a little extra 😂, and fiercely devoted to my family. More than anything, I love making the people I love feel known, celebrated, and completely at home.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

Dear Birth Mom,

First, thank you. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family and for allowing us the opportunity to tell you a little about who we are. We can only imagine everything you may be feeling right now, and we know that your journey is deeply personal. Whatever you decide, we hope you feel supported, respected, and confident in making the decision that feels right for you and your child.

We are Adyol and Kai, a mother-and-son duo from Florida. Our family may be small, but our life is full of love, laughter, traditions, adventures, and a wonderful village of family and friends who are already excited to welcome another little person into our lives.

Our home is the kind of place where homemade brownies somehow taste better when someone sneaks a chocolate chip before they go into the oven, where movie nights usually involve too many snacks, and where conversations around the kitchen can last much longer than dinner. We love to travel, explore new places, celebrate holidays, spend time with family, and turn ordinary days into memories.

Kai is incredibly excited about becoming a big brother. He talks about the things he wants to teach his little sibling, the adventures they will have together, and—most importantly—how he wants to be someone they can always count on. Watching him grow into the thoughtful, funny, curious young man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

If you choose us, I want you to know that your child will never have to wonder whether they belong. They will be loved for exactly who they are.

They will grow up knowing their story. They will know that their life began with love and that the decision you made for them came from a place that deserves to be honored. If our paths are meant to cross, I hope we can build the kind of relationship that feels comfortable and right for everyone, one rooted in honesty, respect, and love for this child.

I cannot promise a perfect life. I can promise a home filled with unconditional love, stability, opportunities, laughter, education, traditions, adventures, and people who will show up again and again. I can promise bedtime stories, birthday celebrations, family vacations, hugs after hard days, someone cheering loudly from the sidelines, and a family that will always make room at the table.

Most of all, I promise that your child will be deeply loved—not only by me and Kai, but by an entire family waiting with open hearts.

Thank you for considering us and for allowing us to share a small piece of our lives with you. Whatever you decide, I hope you find peace in knowing that you are making your decision with love.

With love,
Adyol & Kai 🩷

Our Parenting Style

My Parenting Style

My parenting style is loving, involved, and probably best described as a mix of structure, adventure, and a lot of conversation.

I believe children need boundaries and consistency, but they also need the freedom to discover who they are. In my home, questions are encouraged, mistakes are opportunities to learn, feelings can be talked about openly, and there is always time for one more hug.

Raising Kai has taught me that parenting changes as a child grows. Sometimes my role is to guide him, sometimes to challenge him, sometimes to listen, and sometimes simply to be there. We talk about everything—school, friendships, goals, faith, mistakes, the future, and plenty of completely ridiculous things around the dinner table. I want my children to know that home will always be their safe place and that nothing they could ever tell me would change how deeply they are loved.

I also believe childhood should be fun! My children can expect bedtime stories, family movie nights, messy baking projects, vacations, birthday traditions, science experiments, theme parks, afternoons in the pool, and plenty of spontaneous adventures. Education and hard work are important to me, but so are curiosity, kindness, confidence, compassion, and learning to enjoy life.

Most importantly, I am not raising a child to become a particular version of who I imagined they would be. I want the privilege of discovering who they already are—their personality, talents, dreams, quirks, and passions—and helping them become the very best version of themselves.

My goal as a mom is simple: to raise children who always know they are safe, supported, celebrated, and completely loved—and who never have to wonder whether they belong.

Our Story

Our Home

🏡Home for us is where the fun begins.

We live in sunny Clermont, Florida, where there is almost always something to do. We have a pool for hot Florida afternoons, lakes and parks nearby, and Orlando practically in our backyard—which means Disney days, Universal adventures, dinner somewhere fun, or an impromptu “let’s go!” are never very far away.

Our house is definitely not a museum. It is a kick-off-your-shoes, grab-a-snack, and stay-awhile kind of home. There is laughter, music, food in the kitchen, family coming and going, movie nights on the couch, and usually some kind of plan being dreamed up for the weekend.

And there is one person who is VERY ready for our family to grow: Kai. He cannot wait for his future little sidekick. I can already picture the two of them—Kai proudly showing off everything he knows, a little one following right behind him, and me watching the two of them create the kind of sibling memories that last a lifetime.

My future child will grow up with traditions to look forward to, birthdays made into a big deal, holidays full of family, afternoons in the pool, bedtime stories, messy kitchens, vacations, theme parks, beach days, lazy Sundays, and plenty of adventures that probably weren’t on the calendar that morning.

But underneath all that fun is something even more important: security and belonging. I want my future child to grow up absolutely certain of where home is. It will be the place where they can be completely themselves, where the door is always open, where their biggest dreams are encouraged, and where even their hardest days end surrounded by people who love them.

There is plenty of room in our home for more toys, more giggles, more tiny shoes by the door, and a whole new collection of memories. We are just missing one very special little sidekick. 🩷

Our Nursery

I already know one thing about the nursery: it will have personality.

I love creating beautiful spaces, so decorating my future child’s room is something I have dreamed about for a long time. I want it to feel special from the moment you walk in—stylish, colorful, playful, and filled with thoughtful little details.

I have plenty of ideas already (probably too many 😂), but I don’t want to create an entire personality for a baby I haven’t met yet. I want to leave room for my future child to show me who they are.

I’ll create the beginning, and the room will grow with them. Their name will find its place. Favorite colors will appear. Books and toys will start taking over. Photos from our adventures will make their way onto the walls. And eventually, the room will become less about what I imagined and more about the little person actually living in it.

There will still be plenty of Mom in it, of course. Everything will have its place, the details will coordinate, and I already have a feeling the closet will be very well loved. 😂

More than anything, I look forward to the day when it isn’t “the nursery” anymore. It will simply be their room—filled with their favorite things, their memories, their personality, and all the little pieces that make them uniquely themselves.

I’ll create the beginning. My future child will make it theirs. ❤️

Our Pets

Meet Our Pets, Honey and Prada! 🐾

Our two tiny, furry family members who are absolutely convinced that this is their house and Kai and I are simply lucky enough to live here. 😂

Prada, our Maltipoo, is the little lady of the house. She is sweet, elegant, loves to cuddle, and has perfected the art of following us from room to room just to make sure she isn’t missing anything. If there is an available lap, Prada considers it hers.

Honey, our Toy Poodle, is the entertainment. She is playful, energetic, social, and always ready for fun. She loves her toys, loves attention, and seems to believe that anyone who walks through our front door has specifically come to see her.

Together, they are part of everything—movie nights, lazy afternoons, family celebrations, kitchen adventures, and all the everyday moments in between. They bring so much personality, laughter, and unconditional love into our home.

We already know exactly what will happen when my future child arrives: Prada will claim the spot beside the baby, Honey will investigate every new toy, and Kai’s little sidekick will immediately gain two very tiny, very spoiled, four-legged best friends.

Around here, family comes with paws, cuddles, and a little dog hair on your clothes. We wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾🩷

Our Family

❤️Our family is fun, loud, close, and always up for making another memory together.

Kai and I are already a pretty great little team. We travel, laugh a lot, try new things, spend entirely too long deciding where to eat, and are always planning our next adventure. But both of us feel like someone is still missing. I can’t wait to be Mom to another little one, and Kai cannot wait to have a little sidekick to love, protect, teach, tease, and make memories with.

And that little sidekick is going to inherit quite the crew. ❤️

There are Grandpa and Abu (Grandma), they live next door, where extra hugs and a little spoiling are practically guaranteed. There are auntie and uncle who each bring something different—some organize the fun, some give the best advice, and some are responsible for making everyone laugh. Then there are the cousins, ready-made buddies for family trips, theme parks, holidays, random weekends, and years of stories we haven’t even made yet. Our family loves being together. Sometimes that means everyone dressed up around a beautiful dinner table. Sometimes it means passports, suitcases, and figuring out where we’re going next. Other times it’s pizza, pajamas, birthdays at home, or everyone squeezed together trying to get one decent family picture. Those are usually my favorite moments.

My future child will grow up surrounded by people who know them—really know them. The grandparents who remember their favorite snack. The auntie who never misses a birthday. The cousins who become some of their first friends. The big brother who teaches them things Mom probably didn’t approve first. 😂 And a mom who will be there for every version of who they become. They won’t have to find their place in our family. Their place is already waiting for them. ❤️

🎤 Meet Mom & Kai: The Unfiltered Interview

❤️ MOM — ADYOL

Q: What does a normal day with you look like?
Mom: Normal? I’m not sure we do normal very well. 😂 There is usually a plan, a changed plan, somewhere we suddenly decide to go, something I’m working on, food involved, and at least one conversation with Kai that starts about one thing and ends somewhere completely different.

Q: What’s something Kai would say about you immediately?
Mom: That I ask too many questions. 😂 I call it being interested in his life.

Q: What kind of mom are you?
Mom: I’m the “text me when you get there,” “did you eat?”, “tell me what happened,” and “I’m coming to get you” mom. I give independence, but my kids will always know Mom is one phone call away.

Q: What is something you take VERY seriously?
Mom: Making memories. Birthdays, vacations, holidays, random adventures—I don’t believe we should wait for a special occasion to enjoy life.

Q: What are you absolutely going to overdo with a baby?
Mom: The outfits. 😂 And birthdays. And Christmas. Okay… apparently several things.

Q: What’s something you hope your future child learns from you?
Mom: To be brave enough to build a life that feels like their own. Be kind, work hard, love people well, have faith, travel, try things, make mistakes, change directions when necessary—and enjoy the ride.

Q: What are you secretly most excited to experience again?
Mom: All the firsts. First smile, first word, first steps, first Christmas, first airplane ride, first day of school. I’ve already experienced how quickly those moments become memories. This time, I think I’ll appreciate them even more.

Q: What’s one promise you would make to your future child?
Mom: You will never have to earn my love. On your best day, your worst day, and every complicated day in between, I will be your mom.

Q: What are you most curious about?
Mom: Who they are! Will they be quiet or hilarious? Adventurous or cautious? Artistic? Sporty? A little nerdy? Will they love airplanes like me or roll their eyes every time I plan another trip? 😂 I don’t want to decide who my child will be. I can’t wait to meet them and find out.

😎 KAI — FUTURE BIG BROTHER

Q: How do you feel about becoming a big brother?
Kai: I’ve been an only child my whole life, so it’s definitely going to be different, but I’m excited. I’ve always wanted a younger sibling.

Q: What’s the first thing you’re going to teach the baby?
Kai: Probably something Mom doesn’t want me teaching them yet. 😂

Q: What is Mom REALLY like? 👀
Kai: She asks a LOT of questions. She likes knowing everything. 😂 But she’s fun, and she’s always there when I need her.

Q: What will Mom be like with a baby?
Kai: She’s going to buy way too much stuff. The baby is probably going to have more clothes than both of us.

Q: What does your future sibling need to know about this family?
Kai: We travel a lot, we’re always doing something, and our family is really close. You won’t be bored.

Q: What are you most excited to do together?
Kai: Take them places, show them things, watch movies together, play games, and eventually travel with them. Basically introduce them to all the good stuff.

Q: Is there anything you’re NOT looking forward to?
Kai: Diapers. That’s Mom’s department. 😂

Q: What kind of big brother do you want to be?
Kai: The kind they can come to for anything. I want us to be really close, even when we’re older.
