  • Education:
    College Degree
  • Occupation:
    Middle School Music Teacher

I work as a middle school Music Appreciation teacher, where I love sharing my enthusiasm for music, technology, and the arts with my students. Last year, I was honored to be nominated for Teacher of the Year at my school! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy woodworking, creating and building 3D projects, and tinkering with small machinery. I’m naturally curious, creative, and hands-on, and I’m happiest when I’m learning something new or working on my latest project. I also play the euphonium (similar to a tuba) with several groups across Atlanta.

About Elizabeth

  • Education:
    High School
  • Occupation:
    Billing Specialist

I currently work as an administrator for an autism therapy company, and I love being in a field where I can see the impact of the services we provide and the growth of our clients. Before that, I spent five years running my own business as a postpartum doula, supporting new moms and babies through those important first weeks and months. While it was incredibly fulfilling, I eventually chose a job with more consistent hours, giving me more time with Bobby. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, cooking, and creating embroidery projects. I’m happiest spending time with Bobby, our friends and family, and our animals. I’m creative, caring, organized, and almost always have a project in progress—usually followed by a trip to the craft store for just one more thread color! Bobby jokes that my greatest quality is being resourceful. I love taking on a challenge and finding a creative solution.

Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We recognize that you may be considering many different possibilities for yourself and your child, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to share a little of our lives with you.

If we are fortunate enough to become parents through adoption, we will give our child a safe and loving home where they are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, explore the world, laugh often, and become completely themselves.

We will honor the story that brought them to us, including the people who loved them before we ever knew them. Above all, we hope our child always knows that they are deeply loved and that their story will always matter.

Our Story

Our Home

Life in our home is characterized by love and companionship, as well as the occasional chaos that comes with all our animals! We live in a fairly quiet neighborhood, but we are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who have become an important part of our support system.

We are also very involved in our church, which offers a variety of events and activities throughout the year and gives us opportunities to connect with our community. We are close to a beautiful park and our local library, and we enjoy getting out to explore the area together. We look forward to sharing these places and experiences with our child and watching them become part of the community we love.
