Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We cannot begin to imagine the circumstances that have led you to this place, but please know that we are here for you, your child, and your family.

We’ve been married for over seven wonderful years. Our love for children inspired us to start a family. We decided that adopting a child or children was the best way for us to grow our family. My husband, a family doctor, and I, a teacher, felt that adoption was the perfect choice, especially after falling in love with so many of his patients and my students who needed a guardian. Additionally, Tabitha, whom her dad adopted, brought much joy into my life. We always knew that adoption was the right decision for us.

Our family is incredibly important to us, and we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming a child. We are deeply involved in our community and are committed to prioritizing our child’s well-being while instilling the values of ambition and education. We want you to know that your child will always be aware of your love for them and the selfless decision you made to choose adoption for them. We are excited to open our home to a child and are enthusiastic about the journey ahead. We hope this profile provides you with insight into our lives and the kind of upbringing we can offer a child.

With love, Tabitha & Robert

Our Parenting Style

As parents, we must nurture our children, helping them to grow into self-assured, self-reliant, and joyful individuals. This is achieved through practicing empathy, respect, understanding, and maintaining healthy boundaries. Our parenting approach prioritizes age-appropriate development, creating an environment that encourages open communication and ensures the safety and well-being of our child.

When it comes to discipline, we believe in using positive methods, like redirection, natural consequences, and positive reinforcement, instead of resorting to physical or emotional punishment.

Our Story

Our Home

A year ago, our family made the wonderful decision to buy a home in a beautiful area. Our community has a fantastic center with a pool and playgrounds. The peaceful pond and beautifully landscaped surroundings create such a welcoming atmosphere. Our neighborhood is always filled with the laughter and play of many children. Over the past year, we’ve made our home cozy and inviting. With four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an extra bonus room transformed into a snug family area, we now have the perfect space for enjoying movies and games together.

Our Nursery

The nursery is so lovely! It has beautiful floral wallpaper on one wall and pretty rose-colored paint on the other three walls, with black accents in the lights and decor. It’s perfect for a little girl or boy. We’ve got a bassinet, car seat, stroller, diapers, and all the essentials covered. This project has really brought us together as a couple.

Our Pets

Cash and Sarah are both beagles with so much love to give to anyone or any other animal. They are the sweetest pair of dogs that love people and other dogs. They love to run around in the backyard, eat bones, and play with their toys. The dog park is one of their favorite places to go, and we love to see them interact with other dogs. They are excited to be big sisters.

Our Family

Robert and I have been on an amazing journey together for over nine years, and we’ve been happily married for seven of those years. We’re a hardworking and determined family, and we strongly believe in chasing our dreams. Both my husband and I have earned advanced degrees, which have empowered us to make a real difference. As a close-knit unit, we are fully dedicated to looking out for the well-being of our community and each other. Our greatest joy comes from lending a helping hand to others, striving to ease their burdens and improve their lives in any way we can. Our family’s main goal is to show love and commitment and to understand that no challenge is too great when faced together.
