Building Our Family Through Adoption

Our Letter To You

We may not know your name yet, but we are thinking about you—with care, with compassion, and with deep respect.

This book will tell you about our life and the love we hope to offer a child, but before any of that, we just want to honor YOU. It takes strength to even explore adoption, especially when your heart is likely breaking in ways that no one else can fully see. We can only imagine the emotions you’re carrying and the weight of the decisions in front of you. Our hearts break with you for the pain and difficulties that may have brought you here. We don’t pretend to fully understand your experience, but we want you to know that you are loved. You matter. We are proud of you.

No matter what path you choose, please know we are praying for you—for comfort, peace, wisdom, and assurance along your journey.

Our Story

Our Home

We bought our house in 2022 and dove right into making it our home. In the first few months, we renovated most of the house—painting, updating floors, and adding touches that made it our own. We did a lot of the work ourselves and loved envisioning, designing, and remodeling it side by side.

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with plenty of space to grow our family.

We love to host family and friends, whether it’s game nights, celebrating birthdays, and having long conversations. We’ve worked hard to create a space that feels peaceful, safe, and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. It’s the kind of calm, loving environment in which we look forward to raising our children.

Our Nursery

We’ve spent some time to turn one of the bedrooms into a cozy nursery and we are excited to fill it with books, toys and snuggles.

Our Family

We first met around 2015 through shared friends who played ultimate frisbee, board games and had Bible Study. After several years and becoming best friends, we began dating in the fall of 2019. Our relationship was and is a natural fit. We are united in values, faith and life goals. We simply love doing everything together.

We got married August 29, 2020. Our marriage has helped us grow even stronger in our relationship. Whether it’s cooking, landscaping, serving in ministry, or traveling together, we simply enjoy life side by side.

We communicate well. We trust wholeheartedly. We are committed to each other to the very end. We have no secrets between us and love making each other laugh. Our personalities balance each other well. Even when life brings challenges—like our journey through infertility—we lean on our faith, one another, and the support of our amazing family and friends.

Our home is filled with love, peace, grace, and laughter, and we are ready to share that with a child.

Custom Section

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We know there’s no way to truly befriend someone with a few paragraphs and pictures, but we are truly honored you read all the way to the end!

If you choose us to raise your child, we promise to love them for exactly who they are. We will nurture their gifts, celebrate them and their adoption story, and do everything to support them in becoming who God created them to be. We will raise them in a home filled with joy, stability, and faith—a place where they know they are loved not only by us, but by the God who made them.

Whether you desire an open or closed adoption, we are ready to walk that road with you with honesty and deep respect. We are committed to keeping our word. We will speak of you with honor knowing you will always be a part of them and their story.
