I grew up in Kentucky and remain very close with my family. I’m a registered nurse and work remotely in patient education, supporting individuals through guidance, reassurance, and clear communication. My work has strengthened my ability to listen closely, stay calm in meaningful moments, and show up consistently for others. At home, I enjoy simple routines, time with family, and finding joy in everyday moments. I’m naturally nurturing and thoughtful, and I care deeply about helping people feel safe, supported, and valued. I enjoy working out, hiking, swimming, traveling, taking walks outside, watching sunsets, church, volunteering/serving others, tennis, watching/feeding the birds, and spending time with friends. Family is very important to me, and I look forward to being a loving, present mother who offers comfort, encouragement, and steady support. Hi, I’m Kevin. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I value being dependable, thoughtful, and present in the roles I take on, especially as a husband and, hopefully, as a parent. I grew up in Minnesota and learned early the importance of consistency, responsibility, and showing up for the people you care about. I work as a physician assistant in pain management in a nursing home setting, caring for older adults and supporting them through some of life’s more challenging moments. My work has strengthened my patience, problem-solving, and ability to remain calm and steady. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through CrossFit and backpacking, spending time outdoors, reading, and being at home with family. I appreciate routine and structure, but I also value curiosity, laughter, and the everyday moments that make family life meaningful. I’m looking forward to being an engaged, supportive father, someone who listens, encourages, and provides a steady presence. Thank you for considering us as you make this thoughtful decision.

We are Andrea and Kevin. We are a married couple living in Middle Tennessee, and we are hoping to grow our family through adoption. While our paths may be different, we share a common goal: wanting your child to be loved, safe, and supported, not just today, but for a lifetime.

We believe children thrive when they feel safe, deeply loved, and consistently supported. Our parenting style will be warm, intentional, and steady, balancing affection with clear boundaries and age-appropriate expectations.
We plan to be actively involved, present parents. That means listening closely, responding with patience, and helping our child understand their emotions rather than dismissing them. We believe in guiding behavior through teaching and connection, not fear or harsh punishment. Discipline, for us, is about helping a child learn, grow, and feel secure, not about control.
We value structure and routine because they create predictability and comfort for children, especially in their early years. At the same time, we want our home to be a place filled with laughter, curiosity, and freedom to explore. We believe childhood should include play, creativity, outdoor time, and room to discover individual interests and strengths.
As parents, we will model kindness, honesty, responsibility, and respect. We want our child to grow up knowing they are loved unconditionally, encouraged to ask questions, and supported as they develop confidence and independence.
We also understand that adoption is part of our child’s story. We are committed to speaking openly and positively about adoption, honoring their background, and supporting them emotionally at every stage of life.
Above all, our goal is to raise a child who feels secure, valued, and empowered, knowing they always have a safe place to land.
We live in a quiet suburb of Middle Tennessee, close to family and surrounded by a supportive community. Our home is a warm, calm place where family life happens, shared meals, everyday routines, and time together at the end of the day.
Our house has plenty of space for a child to grow, play, and feel secure. We value keeping our home organized, safe, and welcoming, and we look forward to creating a nursery and spaces that reflect our child’s personality as they grow. Our neighborhood includes walking trails, parks, and playgrounds, and we often spend time outside taking walks and enjoying the area.
Being close to grandparents and extended family means our child will grow up with strong relationships and consistent support. Our home is also part of a community where families know each other and children are welcomed and protected.
Most importantly, our home will be a place where your child feels safe, loved, and truly at home, a place where they are encouraged to be themselves and always know they belong.
Our nursery is a simple, peaceful space we are preparing with care and flexibility. We want it to be calm, comforting, and welcoming, a place where a baby can rest, feel secure, and be held often.
We are intentionally keeping the nursery neutral and uncluttered so it can grow and change along with our child. As they get older, we look forward to filling the space with things that reflect their personality, interests, and story.
More than anything, the nursery represents our readiness and excitement to welcome a child into our home. It will be a place filled with love, nighttime feedings, quiet moments, and the beginnings of many memories. No matter how it evolves, it will always be a space where your child is safe, cherished, and deeply wanted.
We share our home with two cats, Cotti and Ammo. Cotti (short for Cotton) is our white, long-haired cat who is gentle, affectionate, and part of our daily routine. Ammo is our black cat who we rescued a little over a year ago after he was abandoned in our neighborhood. He has since become a calm, well-adjusted, and loved member of our home.
Both cats are indoor, well cared for, and accustomed to a peaceful household. We prioritize cleanliness, safety, and routine, and we are intentional about creating a healthy environment for both our pets and a child.
We believe growing up around animals can help teach empathy, patience, and responsibility. All interactions will always be supervised, and our focus will remain on ensuring that our home is safe, clean, and comfortable for everyone.
Family is a central part of our lives, and our child will grow up surrounded by love and support. Andrea’s parents live just minutes away and are actively involved in our lives. They are excited to be hands-on grandparents and to provide consistent time, care, and encouragement as our family grows.
Kevin’s parents and sister live out of state but remain very close despite the distance. We stay in regular contact, visit whenever possible, and they are fully supportive of our adoption journey. Our child will have strong, meaningful relationships with both sides of our family and will grow up knowing they are deeply loved near and far.
In addition to family, we have a close circle of friends and a church community who feel like family. Together, these relationships create a stable, encouraging environment where children are known, valued, and supported.
